Cave Sinella (Collembola: Entomobryidae) from China

All nine Chinese cave Sinella species are reviewed; four of them from South China are new to science: Sinella lipsae sp. nov., Sinella longiantenna sp. nov., Sinella yunnanica sp. nov. and Sinella longiungula sp. nov. Some important characters, such as length of antennae, mucro, claw structure, chaetae on ventral side of the head and body chaetotaxy are discussed.     

The haemoproteids of the avian order Falconiformes

The haemoproteid parasites of the raptors of the avian order Falconiformes are reviewed. In the Falconidae, Haemoproteus erythropi Tartakovskii, 1913 was previously declared a nomen nudum and H. cerchneisi Bhatia, 1938 is synonymized with H. tinnunculi (Wasielewski and Wulker, 1918) Wingstrand, 1947. Along with H. brachiatus Valkyunas and Ezhova, 1989, there are the only valid haemoproteids in this family. In the Accipitridae, H. accipiter Zeiniev, 1975 was previously declared a nomen nudum and H. asturisdussumieri de Mello, 1937 and H. saviannae Tendeiro, 1947 are declared species incertae sedis. Haemoproteus buteonis Wingstrand, 1947, H. figueiredoi Travassos Santos Dias 1953 and H. circus Yakunin and Zhazyltaev, 1977 are synonymized with H. elani de Mello, 1937 and this latter species, together with H. janovyi Greiner and Mundy, 1979 and H. nisi Peirce and Marquiss, 1983, are the only three valid species in this family. No haemoproteids have been described from the Cathartidae, Pandionidae or Sagittaridae, the three remaining families of the Falconiformes.     

Revision of the obligate mushroom‐feeding African “dung beetle” genus Coptorhina Hope (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Scarabaeinae)

The African genus Coptorhina Hope is revised. Nine new synonymies are established which reduces the number of valid names from 15 to six. One new species is also described. The name changes are the following: C. subaenea Janssens, C. bicolor Ancey, C. pygmaea Balthasar and C. saganicola Müller are considered junior synonyms of C. nitidipennis Boheman; C. africana Hope, C. vicina Péringuey, C. obtusicornis Boheman, C. punctata Ferreira and C. optata Péringuey are considered junior synonyms of C. klugii Hope. The new species, C. excavata sp. n., is described from southern Africa. A key to the species and notes on biology are given.     

Mammals in a fragmented savannah landscape in south-western Brazil

Mammal abundance, richness, and community structure were examined in fragments of savannah and in gallery forests of south-western Brazil in order to assess the influence of fragment size and habitat on the communities. Five savannah fragments and two gallery forests were sampled. Within the savannah fragments, environmental parameters such as tree and shrub densities were measured. Live-traps and pitfalls were used for trapping small mammals; larger mammals were recorded from footprints and sightings. Seventeen species of small mammal and 15 species of large mammal were recorded. Small mammals were affected by fragment size and isolation, whereas larger mammals were not. Communities of small mammals were better structured in the largest fragments, and those in smaller fragments were subsets of the communities in larger fragments. Gallery forests revealed a rather different assemblage of mammals, but also contained species common to both gallery and large savannah remnants. Data are discussed relating mammal community structure to area size and vegetation structure, in an attempt to understand the present conservation status of this fragmented landscape.     

New amphipods of hydrothermal vent environments on the Mid‐Atlantic Ridge,Azores Triple junction zone

This work is the third publication on the new amphipod species collected from the Azores Triple junction zone by the cruises ATOS, DIVA 2, MARVEL, PICO and SEAHMA 1. Seven new species and a new genus are described belonging to six families, Eusiridae, Leucothoidae, Oedicerotidae, Phoxocephalidae, Pleustidae, and Podoceridae. They were sampled in four sites, Menez Gwen, Lucky Strike, Saldanha and Rainbow.     

The African species of Zaglyptogastra (Hymenoptera) with a checklist of world species

An illustrated key is provided to the African species of the braconine wasp genus (Zaglyptogastra Ashmead. Four new species are described: Z. afenestrata sp. nov. from Ruanda, Z. levisulcata sp. nov. from Uganda, Z. tenuicauda sp. nov. from Angola, Congo and Zaire, and Z. virgulivena sp. nov. from Zaire. A replacement name, Z. caudatula nom. nov. is proposed for Calliidia caudata Szépligeti, 1914b. Six new synonymies are proposed: Zaglyptogastra basalis (Szépligeti; 1914) (= Z. equitator (Wiedemann, 1824)); Z. leucogaster (Cameron, 1909a) (= Z. nigripennis (Szépligeti, 1908)); Z. stanleyi (Cameron, 1912), Z. maxima (Szépligeti, 1914b), Z. eleganta (Shenefelt, 1978) and Z. tomentosa (Fahringer, 1931) (= Z. tincticanaliculata (Cameron, 1912)). Notes are provided on the African species and species groups. A checklist of world species is given.     

低渗透髙含硫气藏硫沉积的渗流理论研究

针对低渗透高含硫气藏硫以固相析出污染地层严重影响气井产能的问题,运用渗流理论、达西、非达西流体运动方程并引进地层含硫饱和度参数,推导出气流满足达西和非达西运动条件时的含硫饱和度随时间变化的数学模型。该模型可以预测硫沉积的径向分布情况以及硫沉积量随时间变化对地层渗透率和孔隙度的影响。通过该模型的预测对此类高含硫气藏安全生产有着一定的指导作用。     

硫磺回收冷凝冷却器腐蚀原因分析及防腐对策

对某炼厂硫磺回收装置中冷凝冷却器的腐蚀状况进行了分析 ,其腐蚀原因包括应力腐蚀、疲劳腐蚀、缝隙腐蚀、孔蚀、露点腐蚀、酸腐蚀、硫化腐蚀等。由此应采取相应的防腐对策 ,例如 :改进换热管与管板的连接结构 ,进行不锈钢焊后处理 ,进行合理的防腐设计 ,选用耐蚀性能好的材料 ,进行工艺防腐     

文山州甘蔗品种比较试验

试验从生长情况、产量、含糖量等主要指标对文山州普遍栽培的7个甘蔗品种进行比较。结果表明：园林1号生长旺盛、产量高、含糖量高，为优良甘蔗品种，宜在文山州大面积推广栽培。     

高等学校开设武术选项课的实验研究

根据高校武术选项课的教学特点和武术运动的风格，针对武术运动在强身健体中的作用，从考察课余时间学生锻炼情况等方面入手，着重就其对培养学生终身体育观念等问题进行了实验与分析。
