Phorbol esters enhance glutathione-induced feeding response in Hydra

Summary Pharmacological observations on the glutathione-induced feeding response in Hydra demonstrate that phorbol esters, calcium ionophore A 23187 and lithium ions significantly enhance and protract glutathione action, whereas polymixin B induces a dramatic shortening of the feeding response. An involvement of membrane phosphatidylinositol breakdown in the control of the feeding response is suggested.     

Control of the cardiovascular system ofAplysia by identified neurons

The neural network that controls the cardiovascular system ofAplysia adapts cardiovascular function to a variety of different physiological and behavioral situations. It (1) coordinates the cardiovascular system with the renal and respiratory systems; (2) modifies both systemic and regional blood flow during food-elicited arousal and feeding; and (3) changes the tension of longitudinal vascular muscle to adapt the arterial tree to changes in body shape. Indirect evidence suggests that the cardiovascular control circuit may also play a role in maintaining homeostasis during egg laying. Several putative neurotransmitters, including acetylcholine, serotonin, R151 and R152 peptides, have been localized to identified neurons in this circuit.

本文应用惠更斯原理采用作图法计算出单轴晶体双折射现象中非常光波沿着各个方向的折射率,为用该方法定量解决问题提出一个新思路。     

Cholesterol feeding to rats does not modulate the expression of binding sites for HDL on liver membranes

Summary The binding of HDL, Apo-E-free, was studied in rats fed a cholesterol rich diet for 2, 4 and 7 days. Plasma cholesterol increased up to 16-fold (from 55 to 900 mg/dl); liver cholesterol was also raised, from 0.5 to 16 mg/g of tissue. The HDL binding to membrane preparations was not affected while the binding of VLDL was reduced to about 50% of the controls. These data show, therefore, that liver binding sites for HDL are refractory to regulation by dietary cholesterol.

科尔沁牛公犊早期补饲高档精料60天断奶及阶段育肥技术研究结果表明：犊牛5日龄开始补饲高档精饲料、7日龄开始补饲优质干草，丰富了犊牛获取的营养种类，充分满足各种营养需要，早期补饲刺激瘤胃，促使整个消化系统的发育，增强消化吸收能力，从而加快犊牛生长发育速度，日增重可达0.774Kg，60日龄断奶体重可达79.29Kg，公犊进行61～120日龄和121～360日龄阶段育肥（12月龄）体重达513.18Kg,屠宰率达52.43%，育肥牛饲养期缩短6～12个月，有显著的经济效益.     

关于二元Hermite插值问题的某些研究

主要研究在R2中的二元Hermite插值问题.提出了沿平面代数曲线的Hermite插值适定泛函组和强H-基的概念,并给出了代数曲线上的Hermite插值适定泛函组相关理论及一般性构造方法.所得结论推广了H.A.Hakopian,B.Bojanov和Yuan Xu等人在2002年及2003年得到的主要结果,从而搞清了二元Hermite插值适定泛函组的几何结构和基本特征.
