Computer modeling of high-pressure leaching process of nickel laterite by design of experiments and neural networks

Due to the complex chemical composition of nickel ores, the requests for the decrease of production costs, and the increase of nickel extraction in the existing depletion of high-grade sulfide ores around the world, computer modeling of nickel ore leaching process became a need and a challenge. In this paper, the design of experiments (DOE) theory was used to determine the optimal experimental design plan matrix based on the D optimality criterion. In the high-pressure sulfuric acid leaching (HPSAL) process for nickel laterite in "Rudjinci" ore in Serbia, the temperature, the sulfuric acid to ore ratio, the stirring speed, and the leaching time as the predictor variables, and the degree of nickel extraction as the response have been considered. To model the process, the multiple linear regression (MLR) and response surface method (RSM), together with the two-level and four-factor full factorial central composite design (CCD) plan, were used. The proposed regression models have not been proven adequate. Therefore, the artificial neural network (ANN) approach with the same experimental plan was used in order to reduce operational costs, give a better modeling accuracy, and provide a more successful process optimization. The model is based on the multi-layer neural networks with the back-propagation (BP) learning algorithm and the bipolar sigmoid activation function.     

基于工作设计的知识型员工激励机制研究

在分析知识型员工工作偏好的基础上,结合工作的内在激励效用设计了其效用函数,利用委托代理框架,分析了知识型员工挑战性工作激励与金钱激励的相互作用关系.结果表明,无论信息完全与否,挑战性工作均能在一定意义上替代金钱对知识型员工的激励作用;信息不完全时,挑战性工作还能够增强知识型员工抵抗报酬风险的能力.最后给出了实证分析,并得出了知识型员工挑战性工作的设计原则与方法.     

复杂型材挤出模结构优化设计方法

采用APDL建立了面向CAE的模头流道参数化模型,用分步单元划分策略和壁面滑移边界条件,完成了复杂型材熔体在模头内流动过程的三维数值模拟,获得了流道内的速度分布和压力分布.在此基础之上,以模头出口处型材截面上各子区域平均流速相等为优化目标,对模具流道的结构参数进行了优化设计,优化后流动平衡性有显著提高.复杂型材SF56流道结构参数的优化设计和实验,证明了该方法的正确性和有效性.     

基于顺序优化的液压集成块孔道连通设计

在全面分析液压集成块内部孔道结构特征和设计规律的基础上,提出了一种基于顺序优化的液压集成块孔道连通优化设计方法,并给出了该问题的数学优化模型;通过对两端线网的连通顺序及其连通算法的研究给出了单线网孔道连通设计方法,研究了多条线网的连通优化策略,实现了液压集成块内部多线网孔道网络连通优化设计,为提高集成块设计水平和自动化程度提供了必要的技术支持.最后的实例验证了方法的可行性和有效性.

CAD and CAE Integration Through Scientific Visualization Techniques for Illumination Design

Engineers tend to use different software to perform tasks such as geometry modeling, database management, numerical analysis, and visualization. This may cause decrease of productivity and loss of information during the conversion process between different data file formats. This paper presents a computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided engineering (CAE) system integration using scientific visualization tools and techniques. It deals with the development of a 3D CAD add-in for lighting analysis which uses the CAD model as 3D interface for creating a lighting scheme, processing, and visualizing 2D or 3D illuminance fields. Visualization features as color and contour mapping were developed using the visualization toolkit (VTK) toolkit. The application integrates all functionalities of the 3D CAD with tools for light sources database management, pre-processing, processing, and post-processing of illuminance fields in a single environment. This approach increases productivity and eliminates the need for different software.     

Approximate merging of multiple Bézier segments

This paper deals with the approximate merging problem of multiple adjacent Bézier curves with different degrees by a single Bézier curve, which is a frequently seen problem in modeling. The unified matrix representation for precise merging is presented and the approximate merging curve is further derived based on matrix operation. Continuity at the endpoints of curves is also discussed in the merging process. Examples show that the method in this paper achieves satisfying merging results.

3 D structure parameterization design and modeling for irregular structure of stope bottom

Stope mining design is a very important and complicated task in daily production design and technical management of an underground mine.Based on workface technology and human-computer interaction technology, this study introduces a method of 3D parametric design for the irregular struc-ture of stope bottoms, and focuses on solving technical problems in surface modeling of stope bottom structure.Optimization of the minimum span length algorithm ( MSLA) and the shortest path search algorithm ( SPSA) is conducted to solve the problem of contour-line based instant modeling of stope bottom structures, which makes possible the 3D parametric design for irregular structure of stope bot-tom.Implementation process and relevant methods of the proposed algorithms are also presented. Feasibility and reliability of the proposed modeling method are testified in a case study.In practice, the proposed 3D parameterization design method for irregular structure stope bottom proves to be very helpful to precise 3D parametric design.This method is capable of contributing to improved efficien-cy and precision of stope design, and is worthy of promotion.
