The Interactive Method: A New Approach to Solving a Kind of Mixed Integer Programming

Porduction planning often comes up in the form of programming problems with continuous variables, where investment project planing usually reduces to zero-one programming. Combination of the choices of investment projects with the existent production capacity, therefore, yields mixed integer programming. With this background, this paper provides a new approach to solving mixed integer programming problems by combining the man-machine interactive method for multiobjective programming with graphics generating techniques.     

Teratogenic interactions between cadmium and radiation in mice

Summary Mouse embryos were exposed to various doses of cadmium and/or X-rays on day 8 of gestation. The combined treatment exerted an antagonistic effect regarding the teratogenic action of the two agents.

科技人才的创造发明与杰出贡献推动了世界科技事业的发展, 科学技术的飞速发展, 也对科技人才提出了更高的要求与使命。科技人才的素质直接关系到科学技术的发展速度与水平, 但目前还没有定量衡量科技人才全面素质的维度, 本文在大量理论研究和分析的基础上, 提出多层次科技人才维度的概念, 即从多方面对科技人才进行综合、交叉分析, 并借助国内外优秀、实用的测试方法, 对多层次科技人才进行定量测汗, 解决多层次科技人才定性分析向定量分析转化的研究问题。     

一种计算原子势函数的方法

对固体材料中原子间的简单相互作用函数Ｕ（ｒ）＝提出了一种计算方法．对立方晶系固体材料，使用实验测得的弹性系数Ｃ１１、Ｃ１２和Ｃ４４及体弹性模量Ｋ的实验测定值，通过网格求极值的方法，进行了计算机模拟．用该法计算出的势函数参量ｍ，ｎ，ａ，ｂ与其它方法估计结果基本一致．     

Dynamics and control designs for internal thermally coupled distillation columns with different purities, Part 2: close loop analysis and control designs

Interaction between overhead and bottom composition loops of internal thermally coupled distillation columns (ITCDIC) with four purities are analyzed by means of relative gain array, condition number and singular value decomposition, which indicates that high- and very high-purity ITCDIC are well coupled and ill-conditioned systems with severe gain directionality problem. Based on the above dynamic behaviors, suitable control schemes of four different purity systems are studied. In low-purity system, internal model control (IMC) is better than decentralized proportion integral differential (D-PID) control in terms of response speed and remaining errors. In moderate-purity system, D-PID can effectively reject large load disturbances while IMC fails due to severe mismatch between model and plant. In high-purity system, neither IMC nor D-PID can provide satisfactory control so that modified IMC and multivariable PID with singular value decomposition scheme are presented respectively to improve control performances. Finally, in very high-purity systems, the combined feed-forward and feedback control scheme is proposed to deal with extremely sluggish responses to load disturbances.
