生物类专业英语词汇教学策略探讨

本文结合生物类专业英语词汇的特点和教学目标,提出以下教学法:(1传授构词法,使学生迅速掌握大量的新词汇;(2)讲述词素和词源分析法,加深学生对专业词汇的记忆和掌握;(3)辨析易混淆的同义词,阐明语境和词汇之间的关系,促进学生对专业英语词汇的理解;(4)加强专业英语词汇发音的教学,提高学生的听、说能力。     

对一种接触氧化法新型填料性能的研究

阐述了接触氧化法中填料的发展状况及选择填料应遵循的原则,对一种新型悬浮填料的物理化学性质及生物附着量进行了研究,给出了相关的数据.结果表明,这种填料具有比较显著的优点.     

面向制造系统的多级物流配送模型及算法

针对制造系统供应链管理中多级配送运输存在的问题,采用仿真的方法进行模拟,设计一种合理算法,分析了供应链中物料沿着从最初的供应商流向其下游不同的生产商、装配商,完成整个制造形成产品的过程,揭示了生产商流向其下游批发商、零售商,最终到达用户手中实现其价值的规律.研究结果表明,这种多级配送模型和优化调度算法,对解决大规模配送决策问题具有可行性.     

本科生分子生物学实验教改中存在的问题及对策

作者结合自己分子生物学实验教学经验,介绍了教研室本科生分子生物学实验教学改革现状,肯定了实验教学改革效果,同时对改革中存在的问题进行深入分析,并提出相应对策。     

游离氯对曝气生物滤池短程硝化的影响

研究投加游离氯对曝气生物滤池(BAF)实现短程硝化的可行性,考察游离氯对亚硝酸盐积累的作用规律,并探讨改变加氯量和氯的投加方式对稳定维持BAF亚硝酸盐积累的影响。研究结果表明,通过加氯可以实现曝气生物滤池亚硝酸盐的积累;当进水游离氯质量浓度为4 mg/L时,BAF系统连续运行20 d后亚硝酸盐积累率可达60%~70%;当系统形成稳定的亚硝酸盐积累时,降低进水游离氯的质量浓度能够稳定维持亚硝酸盐积累;间歇加氯在一定程度上也能够维持亚硝酸盐积累。     

生物教学中多媒体技术与合作学习模式的互补应用

近年来国内引入一系列国外效果较好的教学理论以进行新一轮课程改革.其中多媒体技术成为学生感性认识生物的有利工具,合作学习成为培养学生自主学习能力的有效模式.两者在国内教学推广中效果显著,但其中存在着不可忽略的问题.本文将分析两者在高中生物教学应用中各自出现的问题,提出两者恰当结合解决问题的策略,以期高中生物教学更好地达到新课改的目标.     

Phytoseiidae from date palms in Israel with descriptions of two new taxa and a key to the species found on date palms worldwide (Acari: Mesostigmata)

The old world date mite Oligonychus afrasiaticus (McGregor) is an important spider mite pest of the date palms Phoenix dactylifera in most of North Africa and the Middle East. To identify potential predators of this key pest we monitored the phytoseiids in the date palm canopy and on the orchard floor for three consecutive years in the Southern Arava Valley of Israel. In this study we report on the phytoseiid species found. We describe two new species, Neoseiulus cozae and Typhlodromus shoshae, and redescribe seven species, Proprioseiopsis beatus, Neoseiulus marginatus, N. conterminus, N. rambami, N. bicaudus, Cydnoseius negevi and Typhlodromus athiasae, found on date palms or on the understorey Bermuda grass, Cynodon dactylon, gramineae in these orchards. A key to all species collected from date palm orchards worldwide is given. Proprioseiopsis beatus, N. marginatus and N. conterminus are recorded for the first time in Israel.     

Presence of hepcidin-25 in biological fluids: Bile,ascitic and pleural fluids

AIM: To examine body fluids such as ascitic fluid (AF),saliva,bile and pleural effusions for the presence of hepcidin using a novel radioimmunoassay (RIA).METHODS: Serum samples were collected from 25 healthy volunteers (mean age: 36 ± 11.9 years,11 males,14 females).In addition bile was obtained from 12 patients undergoing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (mean age: 66.9 ± 16.7 years,M:F = 5:7).Saliva was collected from 17 healthy volunteers (mean age: 35 ± 9.9 years,M:F = 8:9).Pleural and AF...     

Rapid Manufacturing of Sand Molds by Direct Milling

Direct milling of sand molds is an important development in rapid manufacturing of sand molds. Direct milling is an effective method for manufacturing single or small batches of cast parts. This paper describes experimental investigations to find sand blocks with the appropriate strength, to describe wear patterns of different tools (high-speed steel (HSS), carbide, and polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tools), and to analyze sand mold cutting mechanisms. The results show that the PCD tool outperformes the other tools in terms of tool life. Average flank wear and micro-tipping are the dominant tool failure modes in the sand mold milling process. With a flank wear limit of 0.3 mm, the PCD tool works continuously for about 70 h under the experimental conditions. The experimental results show that the cutting mechanism for direct milling sand molds differs from metal cutting.
