A quantitative survey of the aquatic invertebrate community in the “Monumento natural Salar de Surire” on the Chilean Altiplano

A quantitative survey of the aquatic invertebrate community at a salar on the Chilean Altiplano is described. To establish the taxonomic composition and abundance we monitored inter-annual changes in community structure for four consecutive years covering different conditions. The community was composed of 21 taxa, representing 16 families, and was mainly dominated by arthropods. We found a high number of endemic species compared to other freshwater systems despite the low abundances detected. There were statistically significant inter-annual differences in diversity. A canonical correlation indicated that species richness was mainly affected by temperature. We studied this unique system by taking advantage of the “natural laboratory” that it offers. We found a combination of eutrophic conditions with low species diversity at the consumer level. This system invites further research on the community dynamics and microevolutionary aspects of invertebrate populations.     

Aquatic macroinvertebrate assemblages associated with root masses of water hyacinths,Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms-Laubach, 1883 (Commelinales: Pontederiaceae) in Taabo Lake,Ivory Coast

We examined aquatic macroinvertebrates associated with Eichhornia crassipes roots at five sampling sites in Taabo Lake. An average density of 1644 individuals (ind.)/m² was recorded. In total, 68 macroinvertebrate taxa belonging to 34 families and 14 orders were identified. Among these, Insecta was predominant (77.94%). The highest densities were recorded at Taabo cité during both rainy and dry seasons. Taxon diversity differences were not observed among all stations according to a Kruskal–Wallis test. High densities of predators were recorded. Next most prevalent in the trophic structure were detritivores. Indicator taxa analysis, using the Indval method, showed that stations upstream of the lake were characterized by eight taxa, while 11 appeared as indicators of the station near the dyke. Predators and herbivores dominated within those indicators. Sites near bays were distinguished by 18 indicator taxa with a predominance of predators and detritivores. Conductivity, NH₄ ⁺, temperature, PO₄ ^3?, turbidity and dissolved oxygen were parameters that strongly influenced the macroinvertebrate community.     

Systematic status of Hydrozetes octosetosus Willmann, 1932 (Acari: Oribatida: Hydrozetidae) in the light of ontogenetic and ecological studies

The systematic status of Hydrozetes octosetosus was investigated by comparing this species to H. lacustris, which is the type species for the genus Hydrozetes Berlese, 1902. These species are similar, but probably not synonyms as recently proposed. They differ mainly by the position of notogastral seta lm in the adult and position and length of this seta and total number of long setae in the posterior part of nymphs. In the adult of H. octosetosus, this seta inserts behind the opisthosomal gland opening (gla), but in front of it in H. lacustris. In the nymphs of H. octosetosus seta lm inserts behind gla opening, but medially to it in H. lacustris. In H. octosetosus this seta is very long and the total number of long setae in nymphs is four pairs, while in H. lacustris seta lm is short and the total number of long setae in nymphs is three pairs.

CFD在某实验动物房气流组织研究中的应用

采用数学模拟方法对某实验动物房现有方案下的室内气流组织效果进行评价,在此基础上提出优化方案,通过有效控制室内气流流向,使洁净操作区的空气可以循环使用,达到减少系统能耗的目的.     

水产动物疾病学实验教学改革的探索

旨在促进本科学生掌握水产动物疾病学的基础理论和实践技能,提高学生对理论知识的综合应用能力,增强本科毕业生就业竞争力。文中突破传统的实验教学模式,根据水产养殖专业的培养目标,初步探讨了水产动物疾病学实验教学的改革措施,主要内容包括：对实验内容、教学条件、教学方法和考核办法进行改革和实践,充分调动了学生的学习积极性,提高了学生的学习兴趣,培养了学生的自主思维和创新意识。

实验动物福利与伦理在国内日益受到重视,结合医院实验动物工作的特色,借鉴管理学五个"M"的理念,探讨了医院实验动物管理与使用委员会(IACUC)的筹建和运作。     

应用伊维菌素驱杀实验动物体内外寄生虫

目的寻找一种安全有效的驱杀实验动物体内外寄生虫的药物。方法将携带鼠癣螨雄性小鼠随机分为3组,雌鼠也随机分为3组;将携带鼠隐匿管状线虫卵雄性小鼠随机分为3组,雌鼠也随机分为3组。通过3周饮用浓度分别为0.1%、0.5%和1.0%的伊维菌素来观察驱杀效果。结果 3个浓度的伊维菌素对实验动物鼠癣螨和鼠隐匿管状线虫均有较好的驱杀效果。结论伊维菌素可作为一种安全有效驱杀实验动物体内外寄生虫的药物使用。

Neozoans in european waters — Exemplifying the worldwide process of invasion and species mixing

The loss of biodiversity — the tendency of the world's fauna to become more and more homogeneous —is widely acknowledged as a problem. Biodiversity is threatened by neozoism and acculturation as much as the extinction of species, but these dangers are less well known. Neozoism and acculturation have an effect on two levels; they lead 1) to an equalisation of the faunal regions and their originally different, specially adapted biocenoses, and 2) to a reduction of genetic diversity below the species level. These processes develop very rapidly in the European waters, particularly in the lowland river systems. The present contribution gives a brief review on neozoans in European inland waters.
