Study on the Technology of Restoration and Giving a New Lease of Life to the Alpine Grassland Vegetation in the Construction of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway

This article gives a summary and analasis to experimental study on the restoration and giving a new lease of life to the alpine grassland vegetation along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. Through on-the-spot investigation and vegetaion storation experimental study to the constructive fetching soil ground in Tuotuo River experiment section in the construction of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the result shows ： after the activities of the construction, soil conditions on the fetching soil ground have changed a lot, the soil quality has obviously degraded. In order to do well the vegetaton storation and reconstruction in the process of the construction of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the backfilling of the surface soil should really be done well. According to the result of on -the-spot experiment, the Elymus dahuricus Turcz and Poa annua Linn are all more suitable to the fetching soil environment on the alpine grassland, the plant can normally grow in the growing season. The timing selection of the vegetation should fully use feature of both rain and heat in the same season, thus can improve the percentage of success.     

The protective effect of thiola against the genotoxic action of benzo(a)pyrene

Summary The protective effect of Thiola against the genotoxicity, induced by benzo(a)pyrene, in vitro and in vivo, was investigated. By association of Thiola to benzo(a)pyrene a significant decrease of the numerical and structural chromosome aberrations and a reduction of the incidence of c-mitoses has been obtained in human diploid cells, i.e. human embryonic lung fibroblasts of the cell-line ICP-23, and C₅₆Bl/6 mouse bone marrow cells.

The authors first introduce the principle of probability method and then give statistics of the regular patterns and the parameters which both belong to the resistance and the load-carrying effect of OTC; and also recommend the reliable norms and practical design formula. As a result, the fatigue design for cranes steps forward with a large pace.

Quarterly forecasts of the italian business cycle by means of monthly economic indicators

Recent years have witnessed a growing availability of high-frequency indicators which can be used to forecast future economic activity. This paper shows how some of the widely known monthly economic indicators at present available in Italy can be used in a systematic and coordinated manner to forecast the main variables of the National Accounts. In order to reduce as much as possible the amount of judgment in the analysis of the business cycle, a model-based approach is adopted. Thus, a pseudo macro-econometric model of the Italian economy is built, which can be used to produce forecasts one semester ahead of the last National Accounts data release. The model can be used autonomously as well as in combination with the Bank of Italy's quarterly econometric model.
