Coastal plain evolution in southern Hainan Island, China

The coast of southern Hainan Island is characterized by wide sandy embayments, which consist of ( i) drowned valleys bounded by steep bedrock hills and only locally receiving sediments, and embayments of various dimensions covered either by (ii) alluvial-deltaic deposits or by (iii) sands of coastal beach ridges/barriers and associated elongated lagoons. During the late Tertiary-Pleistocene the area has experienced isostatic and eustatic movements associated with neotectonics and climatic changes. Such history isrecorded in terraces at various altitudes (SO, 40, 20 m asl) and sequences of coastal sand ridges/baymouth bars. The Holocene variations in sea level and climate are recorded in the dated coastal ridges, coral reef and beachrock. Conditions suitable for reef development started about 8000 a BP. The GPR profiles also show that the internal structures of the sand ridges have composite nature being formed by several superimposed secondary ridges.

秋季南日岛西部海域游泳动物种类组成及其多样性

根据2011年秋季南日岛西部海域的底拖网调查资料,分析了该海域游泳动物种类组成、物种多样性和资源密度分布特征.结果表明,调查海域共出现游泳动物80种,隶属于18目51科63属.相对重要性指数（IRI）大于500的优势种类有鹿斑鲾（Leiognathus ruconius）、杜氏枪乌贼（Loligo duvaucelii）、叫姑鱼（Johnius grypotus）、口虾蛄（Oratosquilla oratoria）等7种;Shannon-Wiener物种多样性指数平均值为2.36,种类丰富度指数平均值为4.15,均匀度指数平均值为0.70.所有游泳动物质量相对资源平均密度为1116.23 kg/km2,尾数相对资源平均密度为108 215 ind/km2.该海域游泳动物资源密度处于中等水平,但资源的利用价值并不高,多数为小型种类.     

湛江市东海岛区位与产业SWOT分析

通过对广东第一大岛——湛江东海岛经济区空间区位的多尺度分析,能明确它的陆地腹地和海域可通达的最近和最远连接节点。根据东海岛深水良港特点和铁矿、煤炭资源的便捷配置,可以预测到其应作为我国南部沿海重化工产业的新生地带之一。通过SWOT分析可知,毗邻珠三角、港澳地区的东海岛,适逢珠三角产业转移大好机遇,具有较大的区位优势和时间的先机。但是,北部湾经济区的崛起对东海岛经济区的产业发展带来了影响和挑战。探讨出东海岛经济区产业开发有效模式,对同种类的＂海岛型＂区域资源利用与开发,具有一定的指导意义。     

Coral cover as a proxy of disturbance:A case study of the biodiversity of the hermatypic corals in Yongxing Island, Xisha Islands in the South China Sea

The Yongxing Island is the biggest island of Xisha Islands in the middle part of the South China Sea. It occupies 1.8 square kilometers of land area and has permanent residence on it. There are only a few papers on the coral community of the Xisha Islands, reporting the species composition, structure and zonations of the hermatypic coral community in 1970s. The present study describes the hermatypic coral community based on the quadrat survey after almost 30 years in Yongxing Island in August 2002. It was the first time to present the percent cover data of live corals of Yongxing Island via a systematic scheme of quantitative quadrat sampling. The average total percent cover of the live coral is 68.4%. We found the total percent cover (TPC) could be an idea proxy of the overall disturbance regime impinging on the coral community. TPC can be used as an integrated measure of disturbance to coral reef. Using this surrogate, the best fit relation between TPC of the live corals and species richness, species diversity, or the species evenness is the unimodal second-order polymorphic parabola equation. This result is expected by the intermediate disturbance hypothesis (IDH). From the fitted parabola equations, we calculated the best TPCs corresponding to the maximal species richness, the highest species diversity, or the most evenness respectively. They are surprisingly stabilized between 55% and 58%. Coralcover is the basic parameter widely available for most observation, research or monitoring programs. The good qualitative characteristics of percent cover provide powerful tool for the experimental, theoretical and modeling studies of coral reef in response to the disturbance.

概念化水资源系统及其面向对象构架设计

该文提出概念化水资源系统模拟的面向对象设计方法,对概化元素属性及其在水循环过程中的功能进行描述,从而将系统划分为相互关联的功能模块。通过对系统基本元素的划分和功能的归纳,设计了相应的类及其子类,并以水量运动和利用过程为基础建立了类之间的交互关系。不同模块的计算可以通过实例化后的类对象实现,并借助主控程序完成系统的整体模拟,实现了模块间分层次的耦合。以该设计方法构建的模型对海南岛水资源配置进行模拟计算,得出了不同方案的水资源供需态势和水量平衡变化趋势,检验了其有效性和可行性。
