Metabolism of 3β-hydroxycholest-5-en-26-oic acid in hamsters

Summary Metabolism of 26-hydroxycholesterol to 3-hydroxychol-5-en-24-oic acid and other C24-bile acids has been expected to occur by way of 3-hydroxycholest-5-en-26-oic acid in studies in vitro. 3-Hydroxycholest-5-en-26-oic acid was infused intravenously into bile fistula hamsters and the following C24-bile acids were identified: 3-hydroxychol-5-en-24-oic acid, lithocholic acid, chenodeoxycholic acid, and a small amount of cholic acid.

Bovine microvascular endothelial cells of separate morphology differ in growth and response to the action of interferon-γ

Five cell types recently isolated from the bovine corpus luteum differed in their epithelioid morphology and their cytoskeleton, but shared common criteria of microvascular endothelial cells^1,2. To give strong evidence for the separate entity, the growth rate of the 5 phenotypically different cells was studied. They were seeded at low density on day 0. Most of these cells were treated with 200 to 1000 U recombinant bovine interferon- (IFN-) for 3 days. The untreated remainder served as controls. Cell counts were made for all cultures on days 4, 7, 10 and 13. morphology: 13 d after treatment with IFN- senescent cells as well as intact cells occurred in cultures of cell types 1 to 4. Cultures of cell type 5 were apparently unchanged and resembled their untreated counterparts. Desminpositive cells in cultures of cell type 2 developed cell processes. Growth rate: In the absence of IFN-, the growth rate was high for cell types 3 and 4, moderate for cell type 1, and low for cell types 2 and 5. The presence of IFN- caused anti-proliferative effects. These were higher for cell types 3 and 4 than for cell types 1 and 2. IFN- could be cytotoxic on cell type 3. In contrast, the cytokine tended to support the cell growth of cell type 5. These findings substantiate the postulate that endothelial cells exhibiting separate morphology in culture also function differently.     

镁合金表面热喷涂WC-10Co-4Cr粒子沉积及分布特性

为了探究高速空气燃料热喷涂（AC-HVAF）过程中喷涂粒子撞击基材后的沉积特性。采用AC-HVAF热喷涂技术在AZ80镁合金基体上沉积WC-10Co-4Cr硬质涂层。通过离散沉积实验获得薄层沉积粒子,探讨各种沉积形貌的种类、形成原因、结合机制及射流中粒子的径向和轴向分布。结果表明：在AC-HVAF粒子沉积过程中,嵌入型沉积为主要的沉积形貌,同时包含少量的破碎型与空腔型沉积粒子。在涂层的形成过程中,嵌入型沉积对涂层/基体结合性能起重要作用;空腔型沉积的小颗粒及破碎型沉积的大颗粒是造成沉积效率下降的主要原因。喷涂粒子主要集中在射流中心,越靠近射流边缘,空腔型沉积粒子越多,最终导致AC-HVAF粒子射流呈现出空间分布特征。     

H_2O_2 氧化玉米淀粉胶性能研究

在引入预糊化剂的条件下,利用Ｈ２Ｏ２对玉米淀粉进行氧化,通过正交设计选择最佳氧化条件,确定对氧化淀粉进一步改性所用试剂的量,以降低淀粉胶的粘度,提高其流动性和初粘强度。实验所得产品淀粉胶与目前普遍使用的白乳胶相比,性能相近。     

含双二苯基膦戊烷铜(Ⅰ)配合物的合成与性质

室温,氮气氛下,铜（Ⅱ）盐和双二苯基膦戊烷（ｄｐｐｐ５）在溶液中通过还原取代反应合成了８种铜（Ⅰ）配合物（１．［Ｃｕ（ｄｐｐｐ５）］２（ＢＦ４）２,２．［Ｃｕ２（ｄｐｐｐ５）２（Ｃ８Ｈ３Ｏ２ＳＦ３）２］,３．［Ｃｕ２（ｄｐｐｐ５）３］（ＣＣｌ３ＣＯＯ）２,４．［ＣｕＢｒ（ｄｐｐｐ５）］２,５．［Ｃｕ２（ｄｐｐｐ５）Ｃｌ２］,６．［Ｃｕ２（ｄｐｐｐ５）３］（ＣＨ３ＣＯＯ）２,７．［Ｃｕ（ｄｐｐｐ５）（ＮＯ３）］,８．［Ｃｕ２（ｄｐｐｐ５）３］（ＣｌＯ４）２）。通过元素分析、红外光谱、热重、摩尔电导测定对其进行表征,表明这是一种行之有效的有机膦配合物的合成方法。     

Cu~(2+)与三磺基四苯基啿卟啉配位反应研究

利用吸收光谱法和直流极谱法研究了Cu~(2+)的还原状态、抗坏态、抗坏血酸浓度及溶解氧对Cu~(2+)与三磺基四苯基卟啉配位反应的影响。结果表明Cu~(2+)与三磺基四苯(?)基四苯基卟啉配位反应的可能机制为抗坏血酸首先将高价铜还原为亚铜,亚铜离子与配位剂生成对氧成对氧敏感的不稳定中间体Cu~(Ⅰ)——三磺基四:苯基卟啉配合物,立即又被溶解氧氧化为Cu(Ⅱ)——Ⅱ)——三磺基四苯基卟啉配合物。     

Leakage of mantle helium from the Liaodong Peninsula, China

The isotopic cumpositions of helium have been investigated in hot spring gases sampled from the Liaodong Peninsula. China. The³He/⁴He ratios range from 0.14 Ra (0.14 times the atmospheric³He/⁴He ratio of 1.40 × 10^-6 to 0.72 Ra.³He/⁴He versus⁴He/²⁰Ne ratios and He contents suggest that a small amount of mantle-derived helium reaches the earth’s surface. Helium iwtope ratios of the hot spring gases show a distribution pattern similar to the regional heat flow values, indicating that the positive thermal anomaly occurring in the rtrea is closely associated with the presence of mantle-derived helium. The observations described above provide some significant evidence that the molten magma originating from partial melting of the upper mantle may have intruded into the continental crust along the activity fault. The coupling of the presence of mantle He and heat flow anomalies to seismic activity in studied region seem to imply that there is an internal relationship between mantle degassing and seismic activity.     

SrGa2S4:Ce blue TFEL in new structure

SrGa₂S₄: Ce blue TFEL device with a novel structure was prepared by electron beam evaporation. The dielectric constant of insulator layer in this structure is far less than that in the conventional structure, so the hot-electrons can be accelerated in SiO₂ layers. The stable TFEL with good chromaticity was achieved and the basic characteristics were investigated.     

大洋多金属结核中五氧化二磷分析方法

试样经ＮａＯＨ溶融,水浸取后,使Ｆｅ、Ｍｎ、Ｃｕ、Ｃｏ、Ｎｉ等共存元素形成氢氧化物沉淀与磷分离,滤液中的磷用磷钼黄光度法测定。方法简便、快速、精密度好、准确度高。经对标准物质ＧＢＷ０７２４９测定,结果与推荐值吻合,ＲＳＤ（ｎ＝１０）〈１．４％。
