A peculiar fatty acid, (Z,Z)-9,12,17-octadecatrienoic acid,identified in the phospholipids of the pea aphid,Acyrthosiphon pisum (Harris) (homoptera: aphididae)

A peculiar fatty acid previously detected in the phospholipids of the pea aphid,Acyrthosiphon pisum, is identified as (Z,Z)-9,12,17-octadecatrienoic acid. It is the first report of this compound in the literature. Comparison of fatty acid profiles of phospholipids between normal and aposymbiotic pea aphids shows that aphid symbionts are not responsible for the biosynthesis of this unusual fatty acid.     

裂个木虱新亚科及新属新种记述(同翅目:木虱总科:个木虱科)

本文记述了木虱总科Psylloiea个木虱科Triozidae的一新亚科、一新属及一新种,即裂个木虱亚科Carsitriinae、裂个木虱属Carsitria和赵氏裂个木虱Carsitria zhaoi。     

贵州带叶蝉属一新种记述(同翅目:叶蝉科:殃叶蝉亚科)

记述带叶蝉属1新种,即爪茎带叶蝉Scaphoideus ungulaedeagus Wang et Lisp．nov．新种模式标本保成在贵州大学昆虫研究所。     

褐飞虱羧酸酯酶基因cDNA片段的克隆及表达分析

利用反转录多聚酶链式反应(RT-PCR)技术克隆了褐飞虱羧酸酯酶基因编码区的cDNA片段,并进行了序列测定.结果表明,所克隆到的cDNA片段长度为396 bp,经BLAST查找比对发现,该片段所编码的氨基酸序列与来自铜绿蝇、家蝇、沟鼠、黑腹果蝇、线虫和埃及伊蚊的羧酸酯酶的片段存在高度同源性.Northern杂交分析显示,在褐飞虱取食抗性水稻后,羧酸酯酶基因表达水平明显升高.以上结果表明,羧酸酯酶基因的表达受抗性水稻的诱导,该基因在有毒化学物质解毒及增强褐飞虱对抗性水稻的耐受性方面可能起着重要作用.     

褐飞虱细胞色素P450基因cDNA片段的克隆、测序及表达分析

利用反转录多聚酶链式反应(RT-PCR)技术克隆了褐飞虱细胞色素P450基因编码区的cDNA片段,并进行了序列测定.结果表明,所克隆到的cDNA片段长度为237bp,经BLAST查找比对发现,该片段所编码的氨基酸序列与来自烟草天蛾、棉铃虫、埃及伊蚊、家蝇、黑腹果蝇和线虫的CYP6家族的P450的氨基酸序列存在同源性.Northern杂交分析显示,在褐飞虱取食抗性水稻后,P450基因的表达水平明显升高.以上结果表明,P450基因的表达受抗性水稻的诱导,该基因在褐飞虱对抗性水稻的耐受性和解毒方面可能起着重要作用.     

网脉叶蝉属二新种（同翅目：叶蝉科）

本文记述分布在贵州的网脉叶蝉属Krisna Kirkaldy 1900 2新种:黄绿网脉叶蝉;Krisna viridula sp.nov.;凹痕网脉叶蝉Krisnaconcava sp.nov.。     

A new genus and species of Cixiidae (Homoptera: Fulgoroidea) from Lower Cretaceous amber

Mundopoides aptianus gen. et sp. nov. (Homoptera: Fulgoroidea: Cixiidae) is described on the basis of a fossil of an adult female preserved in Lebanese amber of Lower Cretaceous (Aptian) age, and is compared with modern genera.     

The Nearctic Psylloidea (Insecta: Homoptera): an annotated check list

The 302 species of jumping plant lice (Insecta: Homoptera: Psylloidea) recorded from the Nearctic zoogeographical region are listed under their respective genera. Information is given on synonymy, host plants and distribution; and the taxonomic position of problematical species is discussed. A list of host-plants and their associated psyllids in also included.     

Cave-dwelling Fulgoroidea (Homoptera: Auchenorrhyncha) from the Canary Islands

Examination of Fulgoroid specimens collected in several caves of volcanic origin on the Canary Islands (Tenerife, El Hierro) has revealed the existence of at least two undescribed troglobitic Fulgoroid species. These are apparently the first records of troglobitic Auchenorrhyncha, not only from the Middle Atlantic Islands, but from the Palaeartic Region. These cavernicolous taxa belong to the families Cixiidae (Tachycixius lavatubus sp. nov.) and Meenoplidae (Meenoplus cancavus sp. nov.). Possible pathways towards the evolution of troglobitic forms in Auchenorrhyncha and ways of speciation—sympatric or allopatric—for T. lavatubus sp. nov. and its epigean relative Tachycixius canariensis (Lindberg) are discussed. These findings suggest that cavernicolous Homoptera are more widely distributed over the world than was previously assumed.
