千兆以太网中的8B/10B编解码的CPLD实现技术

介绍了千兆以太网物理子层的8B/10B编解码器的原理和CPLD的实现.研究结果表明,工作在较低速率的基于Lattice isplsi 1032E的CPLD编码和解码器验证了现有最新的高速可编程逻辑器件(CPLD和FPGA)可在千兆以太网中以125Mbps的速率实现8B/10B并行编码和解码.

Test of an ME Chip Based on FPGAs

The characteristic of FPGA, motion estimation(ME) and the full search block matching arithmetic were introduced, it analyses the collectivity configuration of basic working flow in ME.Based on FPGA, the study concentrates on the control, computing and test part of ME chip implementation.In the end PCB of ME chip is designed and completed.ME is an important link of MPEG standard on picture compression, whose characteristics is its huge amount of data and computing task.So people often use special chip to meet the requirement, but there is still not such production in China at present.     

Advances in SVM-Based System Using GMM Super Vectors for Text-Independent Speaker Verification

For text-independent speaker verification, the Gaussian mixture model （GMM） using a universal background model strategy and the GMM using support vector machines are the two most commonly used methodologies. Recently, a new SVM-based speaker verification method using GMM super vectors has been proposed. This paper describes the construction of a new speaker verification system and investigates the use of nuisance attribute projection and test normalization to further enhance performance. Experiments were conducted on the core test of the 2006 NIST speaker recognition evaluation corpus. The experimental results indicate that an SVM-based speaker verification system using GMM super vectors can achieve appealing performance. With the use of nuisance attribute projection and test normalization, the system performance can be significantly improved, with improvements in the equal error rate from 7.78% to 4.92% and detection cost function from 0.0376 to 0.0251.

基于现场可编程门阵列的图像调焦系统

数字图像自动调焦技术,不仅能提高调焦精度,而且能降低对成像系统加工和装配精度的要求。采用基于功率谱的评价函数对成像系统的聚焦位置进行识别,提出了基于现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)的自动调焦系统实现方案,主要完成图像预处理、清晰度判别和对焦控制等功能。针对自动调焦算法计算量大、计算复杂等特点,采用中值滤波和灰度值线性变换的图像预处理方法,以及流水线作业、"乒乓"操作、双蝶形处理器复用、基-2 FFT算法相结合的工作模式。研究表明,利用FPGA强大的并行及高速数据处理能力,使得图像调焦算法不再成为复杂控制系统的速度瓶颈。
