Effects of the adenylate cyclase activator forskolin and its inactive derivative 1,9-dideoxyforskolin on insect cytochrome P-450 dependent steroid hydroxylase activity

The adenylate cyclase activator forskolin and its pharmacologically inactive derivative 1,9-dideoxyforskolin were found to inhibit in a dose-dependent fashion the ecdysone 20-monooxygenase activity associated with wandering stage larvae ofDrosophila melanogaster and fat body and midgut from last instar larvae of the tobacco hornworm,Manduca sexta. The concentrations of these labdane diterpenes required to elicit a 50% inhibition of the cytochrome P-450 dependent steroid hydroxylase activity in the insect tissues ranged from approximately 5×10^–6 to 5×10^–4 M.

本文报道首次合成了１５种稀土三元配合物，经过元素与化学分析，确定配合物组成为：ＬｎＰ３Ｐｈｅｎ（Ｌｎ为稀土离子，Ｐ为吲哚－３－丙酸根，Ｐｈｅｎ为邻菲啉），通过化学分析、红外光谱、热谱、紫外光谱．ＨＮＭＲ谱、荧光光谱．Ｘ射线粉末衍射和Ｘ光光电子能谱等方法对新合成三元配合物的结构及性质进行了研究．     

具正负系数中立型微分方程解的振动性

本文考虑具有正负系数中立型方程［ｙ（ｔ）－Ｒ（ｔ）ｙ（ｔ－ｒ）］＇＋Ｐ（ｔ）ｙ（ｔ－τ）－Ｑ（ｔ）ｙ（ｔ－σ）＝０，其中Ｐ，Ｑ，Ｒ∈Ｃ（［ｔ０，∞），Ｒ＋），ｒ∈Ｅ（０，∞），τ，σ∈［０，∞］。通过减弱条件~［１～８］：∫_（ｔ_０）~∞［Ｐ（ｓ）－Ｑ（ｓ－τ＋σ）］ｄｓ＝∞获得了方程所有解振动的新的充分条件。

本文利用文献［２］中作者得到的线性化振动定理研究了种群动力学中出现的几类方程解的振动性，推广和改进了文献中的许多结果。     

固定床反应器流向振荡操作的模拟算法——改进变步长差分法

提出了改进的变步长差分法,用于求解固定床反应器作周期性流向切换操作时的温度分布和浓度分布。该方法能根据分布曲线的形状合理分布网格点,并在曲线迁移时自动调整格点分布,从而使格点数显著减少,计算时间大幅度下降。本方法用抛物线分段近似偏微分方程,使之成为三对角矩阵,简化了计算,便于求解。用SO_2氧化反应实验对算法作了验证。     

粘虫(Mythimna separata)变态期间环核苷酸和蜕皮激素的动态及灭幼脲的影响

本文用放射免疫法研究了粘虫(Mythim(?) (?) parata(walker))末龄幼虫和蛹初期的脑和前胸腺cAMP含量及血淋巴20-羟基蜕皮酮滴度的动态变化,进而研究了灭幼脲对这两种物质的影响.结果表明:(1)粘虫末龄幼虫仅具一个血淋巴20-羟基蜕皮酮的释放高峰,化蛹后则以更快的增长速度提高滴度,至蛹3日龄仍无衰减之势;(2)末龄幼虫前胸腺cAMP高峰出现后12小时,血淋巴中出现20-羟基酮释放峰位.而蛹1日龄出现前胸腺cAMP高峰后的较长时间内仍有血淋巴20-羟基蜕皮酮的持续增加;(3)末龄幼虫脑cAMP峰较前胸腺的峰位提早24小时发生,1日龄蛹前胸腺发生cAMP高峰前,脑的cAMP量也维持在较高水平;(4)1日龄末龄幼虫经灭幼脲处理后,脑和前胸腺的cAMP峰值以及血淋巴20-羟基蜕皮酮峰值分别降低约47％(P<0.001),25％(P<0.025)和75％(P<0.001),峰值期以外的cAMP量和激素滴度均无显著影响.

A major metabolite of Δ1-tetrahydrocannabinol reduces its cataleptic effect in mice

Summary The results described here demonstrate that THC-induced catalepsy in mice can be substantially inhibited by the prior administration of ¹-THC-7-oic acid, the major metabolite of THC in most species including humans. This raises the possibility that the intensity and duration of action of THC may depend to a large degree on the levels of this metabolite at the sites of action.We thank the National Institute on Drug Abuse for supporting this project by grants DA-02043 and DA-02052 and for supplying all of the cannabinoids. Ecdysteroids: possible candidates for the hormone which triggers salivary gland degeneration in the ixodid tickAmblyomma hebraeum

Summary Following engorgement, female ixodid ticks secrete a tick salivary gland degeneration factor (TSGDF) into the hemolymph. Here we show that the arthropod ecdysteroid hormones, ecdysome and 20-hydroxyecdysone, induce degeneration of tick salivary glands maintained in organ culture. The effective dose range in vitro is 30–300 ng/ml, a range reported to be physiological for this species following repletion. In addition, infusion of 20-hydroxyecdysome in vivo induces salivary gland degeneration. We therefore propose that TSGDF may be an ecdysteroid.Acknowledgments.
