Seven components of judgmental forecasting skill: Implications for research and the improvement of forecasts

A decomposition of the Brier skill score shows that the performance of judgmental forecasts depends on seven components: environmental predictability, fidelity of the information system, match between environment and forecaster, reliability of information acquisition, reliability of information processing, conditional bias, and unconditional bias. These components provide a framework for research on the forecasting process. Selected literature addressing each component is reviewed, and implications for improving judgmental forecasting are discussed.

模板支架水平构件的可靠性计算与分析

对模板支架水平构件进行了失效分析,建立了方木及水平杆的强度及挠度失效状态函数,研究了结构可靠性计算的直接积分法,进行了水平构件的可靠性计算与分析。研究表明:在小于目标失效概率Pf=10-4情况下,方木的剪力设计值可取为2 760 N,当水平构件受跨中集中荷载时其设计值不应该超过4 475 N,受均布荷载时其设计值不应该超过5.484 08 N/mm。研究结果为高大模板支架水平构件的设计提供了有价值的参考资料,对减小施工过程中模板支架坍塌事故的发生,具有一定的理论及实践意义。     

An analysis Report of College-English Achievement Test Papers

The analysis of test papers is a part of teaching work,which includes the analysis of students’scores and the analysis of the quality of the test paper.This paper aims to analyze the scores and the quality of these papers based on Statistical Software SPSS 13.0.The object is a whole class,with 40 samples majored in journalism of USST.Different quantitative methods,the distribution of scores,the facility value,discrimination,reliability and validity,are used to evaluate the test paper.According to the analysis results,some problems of the test itself are found out,and some suggestions about testing and teaching are given.

基于三态模型的企业车间能力可获性

研究规定服务标准下车间流程的能力可获性服务模型,根据流程在服务调度时,车间服务点处于三种状态,采用三态系统来计算网点特定服务质量事件的概率。建立多队列服务调度模型,按照M/M/m/m/FCFS服务模式计算网点服务可获性概率。按照流程事件发生的条件概率,求得在小于T时间内该调度模式下流程能力服务可获性公式,讨论流程服务能力可获性改进途径。
