Evidence for self-organized criticality in unscheduled downtime data of equipment

How to reduce downtime and improve availability of the complex equipment is very important. Although the unscheduled downtime（USDT） issues of the equipment are very complex, the self-organized criticality（SOC） is the right theory to study complex systems evolution and opens up a new window to the investigation of disasters, such as the sudden failure of the equipment. Firstly,SOC theory and its validation method are introduced. Then an SOC validation method for USDT of the equipment is proposed based on the above theory. Case study is done on bottleneck equipment in a factory and corresponding data pre-process work is done. The rescaled-range（R/S） analysis method is used to calculate the Hurst exponent of USDT time-series data in order to determine the long-range correlation of USDT data on time scale;at the same time the spatial power-law characteristic of USDT time series data is studied. The result shows that the characteristics of SOC are revealed in USDT data of the equipment according to the criterion of SOC. In addition, based on the characteristics of SOC,the overall framework of the prediction method for major sudden failure of the equipment is proposed based on SOC.

基于单片机的行车抓斗秤控制系统设计研究

以AT89552单片机为核心元件，设计一种简易行车抓斗控制及称重显示系统装置。该装置中的智能物料搬运装置可以实现物料的搬运，并对搬运的物料称重，通过LCD12864液晶屏和LED数码管显示物料的重量。整个系统的工作通过4×4矩阵按键来控制，可以分别实现手动和自动搬运物料。对该系统的工作性能进行测试，结果表明，该系统工作安全稳定，称重精确度高，性能可靠，具有良好的应用前景和推广价值。

《镇江年鉴》一直在收载赛珍珠有关资料，2007年卷以前记载比较零星、分散，2008年卷起开始集中记载，资料开始系统、丰富，主要形式为条目和题录。分析《镇江年鉴》中赛珍珠作品研究、赛珍珠人物研究、作品翻译研究、研究成果、赛珍珠对中西文化交流的作用，以及围绕赛珍珠举办的各类活动等资料状况，可以反映出赛珍珠研究的倾向。     

行业股票日收益率的长记忆性研究

运用修正R/S分析和V/S检验两种分析方法,对我国股票市场13个行业日收益率序列的长期记忆性进行了比较研究,得出了以下结论：在5%的显著水平下,农林牧渔业的日收益率在两种方法下均不具有长记忆性;传播与文化产业的日收益率在修正R/S分析中不具有长记忆性,而交通运输仓储业的日收益率在V/S分析下不具有长记忆性;除上述提到的行业外,其余行业的日收益率在两种分析结果下,均具有明显的长记忆性。     

Referential significance of sulfur isotopes and separation of S species in black shales of Southwest China

The states of S species in black shales are very complex, such as organic sulfur, pyrite sulfur and sulphate sulfur. The mineral microtexture, sulfur content and sulfur isotope can indicate the formation conditions and diagenetic processes of the black shales. The S species are separated perfectly and the relation between the content, mineral microtexture and sulfur isotope composition of the sulfur mineral is assessed. These complementary approaches provide people a new insight into the formation conditions of the black shales and redox conditions of Precambrian and Cambrian in Southwest China.     

Structure and assembly of the 20S proteasome

The barrel-shaped 20S proteasome is one of the two components of a larger 26S particle, the multicatalytic 2000-kDa protease complex. The proteolytic sites are located in the inner chamber of the 20S particle and are only accessible via narrow entrances. This paper reviews the current knowledge concerning proteasome formation, proteolytic activities, structural aspects and assembly. Eukaryotic proteasomes are made up by four rings each of which contains seven different subunits occurring at fixed positions. While the outer rings contain α-type subunits, the inner ones comprise β-type subunits. The current assembly model for eukaryotic 20S proteasomes is based upon the detection of 13S and 16S intermediates, respectively, in addition to previous findings with archaebacterial and eubacterial proteasome assembly. The available data suggest a cooperative assembly of the α-type and β-type subunits into half proteasome-like complexes followed by dimerization into proteasomes. During or after dimerization of half proteasomes, the β-type subunits are processed. The prosequence of the β-type subunits is essential for the assembly process and prevents protease activity of immature proteasomes.
