中心北极积雪内超痕量Pb指示的大气污染源区

根据 1995年“中国首次远征北极点科学考察队”野外实测资料 ,对采自 88～ 90°N考察路线的海冰表面积雪样品中Pb及其稳定同位素比率的空间分布及其环境意义进行了讨论 .以剪切带为界 ,南段积雪中的Pb含量大于北段 ,剪切带中的Pb含量与海盐中的接近 .估算表明 ,陆源Pb及海盐Pb分别占Pb含量的 0 16 %和 0 11% ,人为污染释放的Pb占 99%以上 ,这种Pb主要来自欧洲及俄罗斯中部地区的污染气团以及北美洲西部和俄罗斯远东地区的污染气团 ,Pb的稳定同位素2 0 6 Pb/ 2 0 7Pb比值亦证明了上述推断     

The leading correlation of the winter Aleutian Low with surface air temperature during the subsequent summer over the Arctic and its possible mechanism

The variations of surface air temperature(SAT)over the Arctic are closely related to global climate change.Based on reanalysis datasets and a newly defined Aleutian Low intensity index,we found a good correlation between intensity of winter Aleutian Low and the SAT over the Arctic during the subsequent summer.Explanations were given using correlation analysis,composite analysis,and singular value decomposition methods.When intensity of winter Aleutian Low was weaker,sea surface temperature appeared higher in the North Pacific in the subsequent spring and summer,resulting in mean meridional circulation anomalies and 500 hPa geopotential height anomalies in spring and summer.Anomalous upward motion in mid-latitudes and downward motion in high latitudes(Ferrel cell weakening)transported the warmer air to the north from lower layer to the upper layer followed by increases in the SAT over the Arctic.Anomalous downward motion over about 75°N also caused consequent adiabatic warming and contributed to inhibit the heat transportation from surface to upper layer.Negative 500 hPa geopotential height anomalies existed in mid-latitudes and positive anomalies existed in high latitudes.The pattern(low-in-south and high-in-north)benefited from increasing the inflow volume flux of the Bering Strait,which also made the SAT over the Arctic increase.The results of this study reveal the process that the summer SAT over the Arctic was modulated by interannual variability of intensity of winter Aleutian Low.     

环北极国家北极研究布局及对中国的启示

 基于相关战略规划和研究计划等资料,分析了美国、俄罗斯、加拿大及北欧5国的北极相关研究布局,总结了各国北极战略的特点：美国凭借其雄厚的观测和研究实力,在未来北极的研究与开发中扮演重要角色;俄罗斯积极围绕领土和资源开展研究部署;加拿大重点关注极地资源的管理和利用;北欧5国寻求稳定和拓展各自北极利益。通过综合研判,提出了中国未来参与北极研究和合作的建议。     

卫星遥感监测大气臭氧总量分布和变化

 利用卫星紫外仪器TOMS、OMI和TOU的臭氧总量数据(1979-2014年),研究了全球及关键地区臭氧总量的分布及变化。讨论了南北半球臭氧总量分布和变化的差异,探讨了影响臭氧分布和变化的可能因子。重点分析了中国区域、青藏高原和极地的臭氧变化,并利用FY-3数据对南极臭氧洞和北极臭氧低值进行了监测。结果表明,臭氧总量的分布和变化在中高纬度地区具有很强的不均匀性,极地臭氧损耗依然明显,青藏高原的臭氧增长大于同纬度其他地区,其机制更加复杂。

两极的诱惑--看,地球在变小

古往今来,无数勇士冒着生命危险去探索北极、朝拜北极,留下了许多传奇故事。亚里士多德（公元前384～公元前322年）奠定了“地球”这一概念,并考虑到为与北半球大片陆地相平衡,南半球也应当有一块大陆;同时为避免地球“头重脚轻”,造成大头（北极）朝下的局面,北极一带应当是一片比较轻的海洋。在这种设想的启发下,希腊人皮西亚斯于公元前331年开始了有史以来的第一次向北极冲击;     

北极:生死只在一瞬间

北极的风光无限,然而北极的险恶也是无处不在的。本文作者系国家地震局地质研究所的地球物理学家,他1982年去南极,1991年又独闯北极,从此与两极结下不解之缘。1995年,由他任总领队的中国首次远征北极点科学考察队一行25人,历经艰险,于当年5月6日胜利到达北极点。本文即记述了其间的历险片断。     

PH3 monitoring in Arctic and Dalian bay areas

<正> In this paper,we use pre-column 2 times low-temperature cryo-trap enrichment—gas chromatography(GC) /nitrogen and phosphoms detector(NPD)to detect and analyze phosphine in Arctic pole area forthe first time.The results show phosphine exists in all of the samples in Arctic pole biosphere and phosphineconcentration in Arctic atmosphere is between 18.54～132.18 ng/m~3,almost the same as that inAntarctic atmosphere;phosphine concentration in Dalian bay sea surface sediments is between 116.8～554.3 ng/kg,almost the same as that reported in Jiao-zhou bay.Our research of phosphine will shednew light on the mechanisms showing how the phosphorus supplement influences the biogeochemical cycleand global warming.     

火星35亿年前被海洋覆盖
