A hybrid of organic/inorganic system, hollow mesoporous silica nanoparticles functionalized with poly(ethylene glycol), was synthesized in the presence of coupling agent and aminated ends. Doxorubicin (DOX) was used as a model drug to evaluate the effect of PEGylation on the loading capacity and release pattern of the system. Characterization with transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption-desorption, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Fourier transformed infrared (FTIR) confirmed the PEG conjugation, as well as the amorphous mesoporous nature of the synthesized particles. Due to the capping effect of PEG molecules over the pores in the silica structure, the synthesized system was able to retain higher amount of cargo and establish a controlled manner when releasing.  相似文献

The microstructure and texture evolution during continuous cooling hot deformation(CCHD) in a near β titanium alloy, named Ti-7Mo-3Nb-3Cr-3Al(Ti-7333), were investigated by using the electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD). The results indicate that the precipitation of secondary α phase was restricted by CCHD, and the morphology of primary α phase nearly had no change with the deformation and temperature drop. In contrast, βphase underwent more deformation and the grains tended to refine. This may be due to the dynamic recrystallization(DRX) of β phase, including continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX) and discontinuous dynamic recrystallization(DDRX). In addition, the textures of {110} 110 , {225} 520 and{115} 123 transformed to {100} 110 and {001} 100 during CCHD. Among these, the η-fiber component of {001} 100 was the dominant deformation texture in the deformed Ti-7333 alloy. Finally,continuous cooling has an important effect on the work hardening and softening during CCHD, contributing to the different flow behaviors at different cooling rates.  相似文献

Medically, bacterial ureases are important virulent factors and are used for treatment of peptic ulcers and urinary tones. Reported urease inhibitors are associated with various side effects including antibiotic resistance as a major one. Still there is an urgent need to synthesize new urease inhibitors. In this context we have synthesized new urease inhibitor i.e. AgL that is composed of Ag nanomaterials capped with N-substituted methyl 5-acetamido-β-resorcylate(L). The conjugation of L to silver was confirmed through FTIR, UV–vis and TEM analysis.Bare silver nanomaterials(Ag) were also prepared. The stability of AgL nanostructures was determined against various parameters(temperature, high salt concentration, pH) and found to be stable. The in vitro antimicrobial(antibacterial, antifungal), enzyme inhibition(xanthine oxidase, urease, carbonic anhydrase, α-chymotrypsin,cholinesterase) and antioxidant activities of AgL were investigated and compared with Ag, L and standard drugs.In comparison to other bioactivities, AgL shows statistically enhanced selective enzyme inhibition activity against urease enzyme. Urease inhibition activity of AgL was significantly greater than standard drug(thiourea),L and Ag. On a per weight basis, AgL required about 11–18 times less amount of L for inhibition of urease enzyme.  相似文献

In this work, a novel series of multiferroic materials BiMn_2O_5 doped by Neodyme has been prepared by a sol-gel method at low temperature. The crystallographic studies using X-ray diffraction and Rietveld Refinement techniques showed the formation of single-phase samples for all compositions, crystallizing in a mullite-type orthorhombic perovskite structure, space group Pbam(Z = 4). The SEM techniques confirmed the formation of single-phase materials with excellent mapping distribution. Raman and infrared spectroscopic measurements were performed and combined with lattice dynamics simulations to describe the room-temperature vibrational properties of all samples. The X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS) were measured in the energy range of 0–1400 eV at room temperature. The Fermi level E_F was defined with the accuracy of 0.127, 0.32 and 0.48 eV for BiMn_2O_5, Bi_(0.9)Nd_(0.1)Mn_2O_5 and Bi_(0.8)Nd_(0.2)Mn_2O_5 respectively. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy shows the existence of Mn~(4+) state. Magnetic measurements indicate Neél temperature T_N at 31, 40 and 61 K for BiMn_2O_5,Bi_(0.9)Nd_(0.1)Mn_2O_5 and Bi_(0.8)Nd_(0.2)Mn_2O_5 respectively.  相似文献
