Scientists deciphered the most perplexing fossil insects

Under financial support from the National National Science Foundation of China, Prof. Huang Diying （Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences） and his group published a paper titled ＂Amphibious flies and paedomorphism in the Jurassic period＂ in Nature （2013, 495（7439）： 94--7）. It has been known for long that the most puzzling fossil insects are Saurophthirus and Strashila.

虱子DNA表明人类17万年前首次穿衣

[科技日报]据美国物理学家组织网报道,佛罗里达大学一项最新研究显示,现代人(modern humans)首次穿上衣服是在大约17万年前,正是这种穿衣的"技能"才使他们成功地走出了非洲。该研究由国家科学基金会资助,结果发表在本月出版的《分子生物学与进化》上。
