Applying Interactive Planning at DuPont: The Case of Transforming a Safety,Health, and Environmental Function to Deliver Business Value

Organizational transformation is a dynamic process that astounds those who attempt to create better work environments. Corporations often use transformations to downsize and/or outsource functions. Although the Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) function has experienced little change in the past 25 years, pressure is increasing to reduce costs and deliver business value. Often, cost reduction means downsizing and memory loss. Delivering business value means moving the SHE function into the business, with modest attention given to integrating the work. Four major findings resulted in the transformation of a SHE function in DuPont using Interactive Planning: (1) SHE professionals transformed from independent to interdependent knowledge workers, (2) SHE performance improved by almost 50%, (3) enabling factors were participation and personal commitment and disabling factors were organizational turbulence and lack of recognition, and (4) organizational learning flourished among SHE professionals and tacit SHE knowledge became explicit on the factory floor.

卫星的有效载荷的操作规划是卫星自主性的要求，目的是使卫星根据任务目标及有效载荷的当前状态，从有效载荷可选动作集合中自主选择有序的动作集合去完成任务。传统的行为规划技术在时间约束表示上有所不足，因此不能解决有效载荷的操作规划问题。本文介绍了一种基于时间间隔表示的规划方法，并将其应用于卫星的操作规划问题，可以很好的表示有效载荷操作规划中复杂的时间约束，通过一个简单的实例，给出了用这种方法在卫星操作规划问题中的成功应用。

Global optimization of manipulator base placement by means of rapidly-exploring random tree

Due to the interrelationship between the base placement of the manipulator and its operation ob-ject , it is significant to analyze the accessibility and workspace of manipulators for the optimization of their base location.A new method is presented to optimize the base placement of manipulators through motion planning optimization and location optimization in the feasible area for manipulators. Firstly, research problems and contents are outlined.And then the feasible area for the manipulator base installation is discussed.Next, index depended on the joint movements and used to evaluate the kinematic performance of manipulators is defined.Although the mentioned indices in last section are regarded as the cost function of the latter,rapidly-exploring random tree ( RRT) and rapidly-ex-ploring random tree*( RRT*) algorithms are analyzed.And then, the proposed optimization method of manipulator base placement is studied by means of simulation research based on kinematic per-formance criteria.Finally, the conclusions could be proved effective from the simulation results.

利用概率增进树和路径形态学的遥感道路条带提取

针对高分辨率遥感影像复杂道路提取难题,提出一种利用概率增进树和路径形态学的遥感道路条带提取方法。通过一维Gabor滤波器提取道路角度纹理特征,融合光谱特征构建特征矢量。设计训练样本数据集,利用概率增进树算法提取道路候选点。针对具有一定曲率的复杂道路,兼顾直线和弯曲道路,设计4个主方向邻接图检测线状或条带状道路,改进二值路径形态学为概率路径形态学剔除大多数非道路点。针对小面积噪声和条带孔洞问题,采用数学形态学的方法弥补条带孔洞,得到完整道路条带。结果表明:提取道路条带的准确率达到了88.99%,提取结果较为理想。
