This paper describes four case studies of the practice of vision development in four utilities organisations. Important observations emerge about current practice; for example, tensions can be observed in organisations struggling to satisfy the expectations of a diverse range of stakeholders. Formal methodologies for visioning are rarely adopted in vision development; rather more informal processes of debate are preferred. Difficulties with internal communication and staff buy-in to the vision are also identified. Comparisons are drawn with the results of previous work on visioning in the financial services sector. 相似文献

γδ T cells express adaptive antigen receptors encoded by rearranging genes. Their diversity is highest in the small region
of TCR V–J junctions, especially in the δ chain, which should enable the γδ TCRs to distinguish differences in small epitopes.
Indeed, recognition of small molecules, and of an epitope on a larger protein has been reported. Responses to small non-peptides
known as phospho-antigens are multi-clonal yet limited to a single γδ T cell subset in humans and non-human primates. Responses
to small peptides are multi-clonal or oligo-clonal, include more than one subset of γδ T cells, and occur in rodents and primates.
However, less effort has been devoted to investigate the peptide responses. To settle the questions of whether peptides can
be ligands for the γδ TCRs, and whether responses to small peptides might occur normally, peptide binding will have to be
demonstrated, and natural peptide ligands identified. 相似文献

A new species from the semiaquatic weevil genus, Notiodes sporocarpicus, which develops and pupates in the sporocarps of the water fern Marsilea mollis B.L. Rob. & Fernald, is described from cattle tanks in southeastern Arizona. This new species can be separated readily from the majority of the known species by its nearly straight rostrum, with its distinctive dorsally swollen base and attenuated apex. Its elongate and slender body will separate N. sporocarpicus from most species in the genus except N. aeratus, which lacks the characters above. The Texas species N. celatus resembles the new species but has strongly developed suberect curved setae that are not present in N. sporocarpicus. Included are habitus photos and line drawings of the male and female genitalia of the new species. 相似文献
