Effects of pattern shape on adaptation of dLGN cell

Pattern adaptation is one of the fundamental sensory processes in the visual system. In this study, we compared pattern adaptation induced by two types of sinusoidal drifting grating in dLGN cells of cat. The two types of grating have the same parameters (e.g. spatial frequency,temporal frequency and contrast) except their pattern shapes,one of which is normal grating and the other annular grating.The results suggested that the annular grating elicited stronger response and stronger pattern adaptation than the normal grating. This is consistent with the adaptation and aftereffect to the two types of drifting gratings seen in psychology and may reflect the subcortical neural mechanism underlying these psychological phenomena.     

Power-Based Arbitrary Decisional Actions in the Resolution of MIS Project Issues: A Project Manager's Action Research Perspective

As a management information systems (MIS) project manager and an action researcher, the author examined, over time, the influence on information system development (ISD) of the informal sociopolitical organizational actions. The paper reports two cases of action research findings concerning the effect on ISD project implementation processes of power-based arbitrary decisional actions in bureaucratic environments. The research focused on the relationship of such unilateral actions to the interconnected subprocesses of deliberate and conscious attempts by the ISD project members to define and resolve system implementation issues. A suggested conceptual framework for the issue-resolution processes (IRP's) and obstacle-coping processes (OCP's) is based on the author's IRP/OCP-related behavioral constructs and theoretical models dealing with soft-systems issues, especially appreciative system theory and soft-systems methodology, and innovative flexible, "complementarist" (Sinn, 1998) or pluralist problem-solving approaches.

环境化学污染物与人类健康

中国是经济发展最快的发展中国家之一，一方面快速发展的经济使人民生活不断提高，另一方面环境污染、尤其是环境化学物的严重污染对人体健康带来多种危害，包括呼吸系统疾病、神经系统疾病、肿瘤、出生缺陷等，甚至死亡。毋庸置疑，严重的环境污染可导致受害的众多民众失去健康和劳动能力，甚至丧失生命，是重大的社会问题乃至国际化问题，如著名的英国伦敦烟雾事件、美国洛杉矶汽车尾气事件以及日本新泻的水俣病．     

一种基于傅里叶变换的运动图像全盲认证方法

利用运动图像傅里叶变换幅度谱的带状调制特性,提出一种针对运动图像的全盲认证方法,实现了对运动图像经过修改、移动、区域填充以及非运动图像上填充运动图像块两种情况下的篡改区域检测与定位.实验验证了其有效性及对噪声的鲁棒性.     

Kovar与K4玻璃阳极焊接机理及影响因素

分析了Kovar合金与K4玻璃阳极焊的结合机理和主要工艺参数对连接过程的影响,提出了金属与玻璃的连接机理为电场和温度场作用下的离子迁移、复合氧化物过渡层的生成和沉积,电压、温度、压力及试样表面质量是影响离子迁移和结合的主要因素,相匹配的热膨胀系数是防止开裂保证良好连接的必要条件。     

GIS在数字旅游中的应用研究

利用1994-2004年有关旅游地理信息系统设计与建设的相关论文,从TGIS用户、功能、数据管理、系统设计、相关技术的应用等角度,分析了GIS在旅游中的应用现状。认为TGIS目前处于初步研究阶段,其研究面较窄,从技术角度进行的研究相对较多。而对于系统建设的非技术性工作认识不够,相应的研究较少。     

提高学生技能的动物学实验教学改革探究与实践

"黄光检骨"考

史料表明,世界上最早采用红油雨伞滤光方法检验尸体伤痕的明确记载,是在我国的北宋初期。南宋时期的提刑官宋慈则把此法用于检验尸骨伤痕。用黄油雨伞滤光、检验尸骨伤痕始于何时、何人?文献〔1〕中认为,此法亦始于宋慈。文章通过对现有史料的分析,得到了与其完全不同的结论。
