Metabolism in Porifera XII. Further informations on the biosynthesis of 3β-hydroxymethyl-A-nor-steranes in the spongeAxinella verrucosa

Summary Direct incorporation and cold trap experiments suggest that cholest-4-en-3-one is an intermediate in the conversion of cholesterol into 3-hydroxymethyl-A-nor-cholestane in the marine spongeAxinella verrucosa. Cholest-4-en-3-one is further transformed by the sponge into cholest-4-en-3-ol, 5-cholestan-3-one and 5-cholestan-3-ol; these compounds arise from side reactions, which are not part of the major metabolic route leading to 3-hydroxymethyl-A-norsteranes.     

Polyacetylenes from the spongePetrosia ficiformis found in dark caves

Summary Several high molecular weight polyacetylenes have been isolated from the spongePetrosia ficiformis found in dark caves. These compounds are related to, but different from, the polyacetylenes isolated from the same sponge living in its usual habitat.This work is a part of the Progetto finalizzato per l'Oceanografia e i Fondi Marini, CNR, Roma.The authors thank Mr G. Effects of ACTH and diabetes on phospholipid metabolism in adrenal mitochondria.

Incorporation of 32P into adrenal mitochondrial phospholipids (PL) incrased in ACTH-treated rats, but it decreased in diabetics, inspite of the fact that these animals showed adrenal overacity. Since diabetics did not show increased 11 beta-hydroxylation. as opposed to ACTH-treated rats, it is suggested that the stimulation of this enzyme activity by exogenous ACTH is related to an increased turnover of PL at the mitochondrial membrane. The process is impaired in diabetics and prevents the stimulation of 11 beta-hydroxylation.     

Changes in ecdysone levels in the spiderPisaura mirabilis nymphs (Araneae,Pisauridae)

Summary RIA of ecdysones are made on nymphal extracts ofPisaura mirabilis during the intermoulting cycle. The hormone level is low during exuviation and the greatest part of the intermoulting period but increases notably before and after ecdysis. The main hormonal peak or pre-ecdysial peak is due to -ecdysone, characterized by combined TLC/RIA.Acknowledgment. We wish to thank Dr M. Hirn for his help during the manipulations and J. XPS研究多壁碳纳米管的阳极氧化处理效果

采用阳极氧化法对多壁碳纳米管（MWNTs）进行表面处理以提高其表面极性官能团含量。研究了不同电解参数对MWNTs处理结果的影响，采用X射线光电子能谱对处理前后的MWNTs的表面特征进行了分析。结果表明，经阳极氧化处理后，MWNTs表面氧原子摩尔分数与极性官能团总量均有不同程度增加。通电量和碱性电解质的电导率（物质的量浓度）是阳极氧化处理过程的主要影响因素，MWNTs表面极性官能团总量的增加可以归结为羟基的增加和羰基的减少，另外还探讨了可能的氧化反应机理。     

唐钢二炼铁厂使用巴西MBR块矿的生产应用

分析了巴西MBR块矿的矿相结构、矿物组成及冶金性能.MBR块矿的各项冶金性能较好,与烧结矿组成的综合炉料在高炉内的同化过程开始温度和结束温度均较高,但同化速度相对减慢.唐钢二炼铁厂的炼铁生产实践结果表明,适当配用MBR块矿,高炉入炉品位上升,矿耗降低,综合焦比下降,铁成本降低,高炉顺行状态良好.MBR块矿在改善高炉综合技术经济指标的过程中起着重要作用.     

TSCR工艺生产IF钢相变及组织演变规律

采用Gleeble-1500热模拟试验机,研究了薄板坯连铸连轧工艺条件下(TSCR)无间隙原子钢(IF钢)的动态连续冷却转变规律,并分析了其组织演变规律.研究表明:Ti-IF钢的相变开始温度随着冷却速度的增大而下降,即Ar3降低,有利于低温终轧,并获得性能良好的IF钢.同时IF钢的硬度值随着冷却速度的增大而增大,冷却速度从1℃/s变化到30℃/s时,HRB从53.4增加到68.3,即其强度随冷却速度增大而增加.
