Preparation of enantiomerically pure 1,1′-bi-2-naphthols from 85% cinchonine and 1,1′-bi-2-naphtholboric anhydride

A possibility of preparation of enantiomerically pure 1,1′-bi-2-naphthols using an impure cinchonine has been examined. The solid and the mother liquor formed from the reaction of 1,1′-bi-2-naphtholboric anhydride and 85% cinchonine in toluene could give optically pure (S)-(−)- and (R)-(+)-1,1′-bi-2-naphthol after acidification and kinetic crystallization, the overall yields were 40% and 28%, respectively. Effects of hyaluronic acid－chitosan－gelatin complex on the apoptosis and cell cycle of L929 cells

With the development in the field of tissue engineering, the interaction between biomaterials and cells has been deeply studied. Viewing the cells seeded on the surface of materials as an organic whole, cell cycle and apoptosis are analyzed to deepen the study of cell compatibility on biomaterials, while cell proliferation and differentiation are studied at the same time. In this paper, hyaluronic acid is incorporated into the chitosan-gelatin system. Propidium iodide (PI) was used in cell cycle analysis and the double-staining of cells with annexin-V and PI was applied in cell apoptosis analysis. The results show that incorporated hyaluronic acid shortens the adaptation period of cells on the material surface, and then cells enter the normal cell cycle quickly. In addition, added hyaluronic acid inhibits cell apoptosis triggered by the membranes. Therefore, hyaluronic acid improves the cell compatibility of chitosan-gelatin system and benefits the design of biomimetic materials.     

水泥-矿粉颗粒级配与流变性能关系的研究

将不同颗粒群分布的矿粉(即矿渣微粉,后同)、水泥按一定比例匹配,测其净浆流变性能指标及净浆标准稠度用水量,应用Origin软件,以宏观性能指标为z轴,水泥与矿粉D50(颗粒体积分数为50％时对应的粒径值)差为x轴,水泥与矿粉混合样的粉体D50为y轴,进行三维区域图分析,并综合流变性及活性,给出了水泥-矿粉最佳匹配的定性范围。
