Structural basis of ultraviolet-B perception by UVR8

The Arabidopsis thaliana protein UVR8 is a photoreceptor for ultraviolet-B. Upon ultraviolet-B irradiation, UVR8 undergoes an immediate switch from homodimer to monomer, which triggers a signalling pathway for ultraviolet protection. The mechanism by which UVR8 senses ultraviolet-B remains largely unknown. Here we report the crystal structure of UVR8 at 1.8?? resolution, revealing a symmetric homodimer of seven-bladed β-propeller that is devoid of any external cofactor as the chromophore. Arginine residues that stabilize the homodimeric interface, principally Arg?286 and Arg?338, make elaborate intramolecular cation-π interactions with surrounding tryptophan amino acids. Two of these tryptophans, Trp?285 and Trp?233, collectively serve as the ultraviolet-B chromophore. Our structural and biochemical analyses identify the molecular mechanism for UVR8-mediated ultraviolet-B perception, in which ultraviolet-B radiation results in destabilization of the intramolecular cation-π interactions, causing disruption of the critical intermolecular hydrogen bonds mediated by Arg?286 and Arg?338 and subsequent dissociation of the UVR8 homodimer.     

山西沁河上游河岸植被缓冲带综合评价

在对河岸带特性进行调查的基础上,针对我国北方河岸带的特点,从河流健康状况、岸坡稳定性、河岸带土壤条件、河岸带植被条件等4个方面选取16个指标,运用层次分析法,构建了河岸植被缓冲带综合评价体系,并将河岸带生态系统的状态分为4个等级:理想状态、良好状态、一般自然状态和较差状态。运用该体系对山西省沁河的一级支流赤石桥河和紫红河的河岸植被带现状进行评价,结果显示赤石桥河处于"良好状态",紫红河处于"一般状态"。     

一种低噪声高PSRR的LDO线性稳压器

介绍了 LDO线性稳压器的系统组成原理,分析了系统的电源电压抑制比(PSRR)以及噪声与电路结构的关系,在此基础上,对LDO的核心电路模块进行了设计,并基于0.5μm标准CMOS工艺,运用Cadence平台进行了模拟仿真和验证.测试结果表明:该LDO的PSRR最低约为-45 dB@1 MHz,最高约为-75 dB@217 Hz;输出电压噪声在10 Hz频率以下约为0.78 μV(P-P),在10 Hz至l00 kHz频率范围内约为0.1 μV(RMS),能满足低噪声和高PSRR应用的要求.     

电动摩托车车架结构优化设计

为分析某型号电动摩托车车架在振动工况下的结构强度并减轻重量,基于瞬态动力学理论,采用有限元方法,建立车架瞬态分析有限元模型,计算车架在振动工况下的动强度,得到车架在该工况下的应力分布状况,在此基础上结合Hyperworks优化模块建立以车架重量为目标函数的优化模型,在满足强度约束条件下对车架结构进行优化设计。理论计算和实验研究表明：该车架结构强度有一定富裕,在振动工况下安全系数较高,存在一定优化空间,优化后车架结构强度得到一定提高,符合制造工艺,同时车架重量减轻了12.1%,说明该优化方法对车架结构设计有一定指导意义。     

Single atoms in the ring lattice for quantum information processing and quantum simulation

We have demonstrated preparing and rotating single neutral rubidium atoms in an optical ring lattice generated by a spatial light modulator, inserting two atoms into a single microscopic optical potential efficiently by dynamically reshaping the optical dipole trap, trapping single atoms in a blue detuned optical bottle beam trap, and confining single atoms into the Lamb-Dicke regime by combining red and blue detuned optical potentials. In combination with the manipulation of internal states of single atoms, the study is opening a way for research in the field of quantum information processing and quantum simulation. In this paper we review the past works and discuss the prospects.     

Degradation of the antibiotic sulfamonomethoxine sodium in aqueous solution by photo-Fenton oxidation

In this study, photo-Fenton oxidation was applied to degradation of sulfamonomethoxine sodium (SMMS) in aqueous solution. The operation parameters of pH, temperature, and concentrations of H2O2, Fe2+ and SMMS were investigated. The optimum conditions for the photo-Fenton process were determined as follows: [SMMS]=4.53 mg/L, pH 4.0, [H2O2]=0.49 mmol/L, [Fe2+]= 19.51 μmol/L and T=25°C. Under these conditions 98.5% of the SMMS degraded. The kinetics were also studied, and degradation of SMMS by the photo-Fenton process could be described by first-order kinetics. The apparent activation energy was calculated as 23.95 kJ/mol. Mineralization of the process was investigated by measuring the chemical oxygen demand (COD), and the COD decreased by 99% after 120 min. This process could be used as a pretreatment method for wastewater containing sulfamonomethoxine sodium.

多级光杠杆测量微小形变量研究

光通过镜面发生反射,在入射光线方向不变的情况下,如果镜面旋转的角度为0,则反射光线偏转20．利用该原理对传统使用的光杠杆进行改进,提出多级光杠杆的概念．多级光杠杆对微小测量值的放大倍数远远超过传统光杠杆,灵敏度得到提高．同时在数据处理上采用线性拟合的方法得出结果,避免了传统光杠杆中的直接测量标尺和反射镜之间距离而引入的误差,使微小目标测量结果更加可靠．
