Calcineurin activity is required for the completion of cytokinesis

Successful completion of cytokinesis requires the spatio-temporal regulation of protein phosphorylation and the coordinated activity of protein kinases and phosphatases. Many mitotic protein kinases are well characterized while mitotic phosphatases are largely unknown. Here, we show that the Ca²⁺- and calmodulin-dependent phosphatase, calcineurin (CaN), is required for cytokinesis in mammalian cells, functioning specifically at the abscission stage. CaN inhibitors induce multinucleation in HeLa cells and prolong the time cells spend connected via an extended intracellular bridge. Upon Ca²⁺ influx during cytokinesis, CaN is activated, targeting a set of proteins for dephosphorylation, including dynamin II (dynII). At the intracellular bridge, phospho-dynII and CaN are co-localized to dual flanking midbody rings (FMRs) that reside on either side of the central midbody ring. CaN activity and disassembly of the FMRs coincide with abscission. Thus, CaN activity at the midbody plays a key role in regulating the completion of cytokinesis in mammalian cells.

SiOC低介电常数介质吸湿机理的理论研究

利用密度泛函理论(DFT)系统研究了掺碳的SiO2低κ互连介质(SiOC)的吸湿问题.比较了Si-CH3和Si-CH2-Si这两种反应位与H2O的反应,研究发现—CH3更加容易与水反应而脱离SiOC薄膜.还研究了多个水分子吸附于Si-CH3反应位情况下的吸水反应.当SiOC薄膜表面吸附多个水分子,并且水分子以二聚物形式存在时,吸水反应的势垒明显降低.     

校园网络防病毒体系的研究

校园网络安全正经受着严峻挑战,网络病毒,特别是来自校园内网的网络病毒时刻威胁着校园网络各种应用业务系统的正常运转和网上信息资源的安全,基于网络传播感染的病毒层出不穷,病毒的防范和控制已经成为校园网管理工作的重要组成部分.文章结合西北民族大学校园网实际情况,介绍如何构建和部署一套安全有效的校园网防病毒体系,以及通过日常管理工作流程不断完善此防毒体系.     

山区公路边坡远程监测分析及综合预测预警研究

以湖南娄新高速公路边坡地质灾害监测预警为例,选择典型滑坡安装了远程监测系统,捕捉了滑坡体局部变形破坏的全过程;通过滑坡时空演化规律的分析,表明滑坡在降雨作用下表现出从前向后逐步扩展的“渐进后退式”变形破坏模式,滑坡时间变形曲线呈现出与日降雨量密切相关的阶梯状演化特征。从滑坡裂缝体系分布特征来分析,滑坡失稳演化处于加速变形阶段。通过调用边坡变形预测模型库进行变形跟踪预测对比分析表明,灰色-时间序列模型预测精度最高,可以选择该模型进行降雨型滑坡变形跟踪预测。根据变形与日降雨量的加卸载响应比分析,表明滑坡监测点的加卸载响应比时序曲线与滑坡变形失稳过程相吻合。最后采用有效降雨量模型进行了地质灾害区域预警,发布了相关预警信息。通过在娄新高速公路滑坡的系统应用,有效地验证了远程监测系统和预测预警方法的科学性和时效性,为公路边坡地质灾害防灾减灾提供了新的手段和方法。     

硫代基夫碱叠氮基糖原料中间体的合成

利用亚硝酸盐介导的Lattrell-Dax羟基翻转反应,合成了硫代基夫碱的叠氮基糖原料3,并探讨了不同邻位保护基对翻转反应的影响.结果表明:邻位羟基用三苯甲基(Tr)保护,化合物可以成功实现Lat-trell-Dax羟基翻转反应,得到单一构型产物.     

广东省海岛生活垃圾产量及理化特性

选取广东省七个典型海岛,分析了生活垃圾产量及其变化规律,测试了生活垃圾容重、组分、含水率、灰分、热值、重金属含量等理化特性。结果表明：南澳岛、外伶仃岛、东澳岛和上下川岛生活垃圾夏秋季节产量大、冬春季节少,人均产量分别为1.030、1.147、1.093和0.772 kg/d;万山岛、桂山岛生活垃圾春秋季节产量大、冬夏季节少,人均产量分别为0.726和1.022 kg/d。七个海岛生活垃圾以厨余组分含量最高,占到32.34%~47.75%;其次为塑料和纸类,分别占到12.89%~20.70%和11.2%~19.71%。混合垃圾容重为157.49~217.27 kg/m₃,平均值为182.1 kg/m₃;含水率为48.26～60.22%,平均值为53.94%;热值为4793～7068 kJ/kg,平均值为5659 kJ/kg。焚烧灰分中重金属Cu(969mg/kg)、Zn(1760mg/kg)、Cd(19.7mg/kg)含量分别超出国家土壤标准限制的1.4、3.4和18.7倍;纸灰分重金属含量都在标准限制范围内,贝壳灰分中Hg含量以及塑料灰分中Cu、Zn、Pb、Cd超出国家土壤标准限制。     

The environmental index of the rare earth elements in conodonts: Evidence from the Ordovician conodonts of the Huanghuachang Section,Yichang area

High-resolution microanalysis was performed on conodonts collected from the Huanghuachang section in the Yichang area using laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS). This region is regarded as a standard section for the division and correlation of the Ordovician system in southern China. The results show that the values of (La/Yb)N and (La/Sm)N decrease, while the values of δCe increase as seawater deepens and energy decreases. As the sedimentary environment changes from shallow-water carbonate platform to platform margin to open continental shelf to shelf basin, rare earth element distribution curves gradually transform from a right inclined pattern to a flat pattern to a left inclined pattern and a hat-shaped pattern. The present work proves that the values and distributive patterns of rare earth elements in conodonts correspond with the sedimentary environment, and therefore provide reliable evidence for the application of rare earth element concentrations of biogenic phosphates such as conodonts for palaeoenvironmental reconstructions.
