Study of rapid transient explosive boiling under short-pulsed laser heating

Using acetone, ethanol, water and acetone-water mixture as test liquids, the rapid transient explosive boiling (RTEB) taking place under short-pulsed laser heating is observed in experiment. The behaviors of temperature variation are investigated via transient temperature measurement. The vapor bubble behaviors of RTEB are captured by high-speed photography, and the difference between RTEB and normal boiling is analyzed. The boiling heat transfer of RTEB is also discussed. It shows that the character of RTEB is far different from normal boiling.     

Relationship between the exposure dose of high intensity focused ultrasound and the heated necrosis element

Heated necrosis element of tissues is the basis for treating tumor by high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), so study on the relationship between the HIFU exposure dose and the heated necrosis element of tissues is of great significance for both HIFU clinical applications and basic research. Using Pennes and Rayleigh formulae the relationship between the exposure dose of an annular focused transducer and the heated necrosis element (I.e. Biological focused region) in a bovine liver in vitro at a depth of 2 cm is simulated in an exposure dose range with radiation sound intensity of 7000～25400 W/cm2 and exposure time of 0～20 s. The theoretical results appear to be in quite good agreement with the experimental ones. It is shown that on the basis of existing theories the heated necrosis element produced by HIFU exposure can be predicted. The deviation of the theory from the experiments under higher exposure dose has also been discussed.     

An SNP polymorphism（-844C／T） in the promoter of catalase gene leads to differential expression

Imbalance of redox state has been associated with human diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, Huntington‘s disease and Alzheimer‘s disease. Catalase, an important antioxidant enzyme, decomposes H202 into O2 and H2O, therefore limiting the deleterious effect of the reactive oxygen species (ROS). Previous study showed that a C-T polymorphism, located at -844 bp from the translational start site of catalase, is strongly associated with essential hypertension in an isolated Chinese population of Xiangchang country, Anhui Province. To explore the impact of SNP-844C/T on the expression of catalase, human catalase promoters containing either SNP-844C or T variant were subcloned into the pGL3Basic luciferase vector.     

Discovery of a Miaohe-type Biota from the Neoproterozoic Doushantuo Formation in Jiangkou County, Guizhou Province, China

A megascopic algal fossil assemblage was first discovered by Ma Guogan and Chen Meng‘e in the black shales of the Neoproterozoic Doushantuo Formation in Miaohe Town, Zigui County, Hubei Province in 1978. Formal naming of the Miaohe Biota was proposed by Cheng Meng‘e and Xiao Zongzheng in 199112j, and eleven morphological genera have been previously described. including megascopic algae and putative metazoans .Ding et al. greatly expanded the scope of the Miaohe Biota to 9 phyla consisting of 140 genera, including microphytoplanctons, megascopic algae, metazoans, spongesand trace fossils. Xiao et al. further restudied this fossil assemblage, concluding that only about 18 distinct taxa could be recognized and that many Miaohe taxa are poorly defined or svnonvmous.     

重组人尿激酶原氨基末端片段的制备及活性测定

尿激酶原的N-末端135个氨基酸片段包含了表皮生长因子结构域和环柄结构域，参与了尿激酶原和其受体的结合以及尿激酶原诱导的化学趋化活性．利用RT-PCR，从人脐带静脉内皮细胞中克隆ATF基因．将ATF基因插入pET-29a( )中构建表达质粒pET-29a( )／ATF，并转化至大肠杆菌BL21(DE3)中，经IPTG诱导表达及纯化后，从每升培养液中获得15mg rhATF，其纯度超过95％．活性测定结果表明rhATF能够阻断尿激酶原与尿激酶受体的结合，并能抑制尿激酶对纤溶酶原以及纤溶酶对尿激酶原的激活．     

二十二碳六烯酸乙酯对沙土鼠缺血再灌注脑损伤及水肿作用的研究

研究二十二碳六烯酸乙酯(E-DHA)对沙土鼠缺血再灌注脑损伤及其脑水肿的影响.选用雄性断奶沙土鼠灌胃给予二十二碳六烯酸乙酯(150 mg/(kg·d))或等体积溶媒10周,阻断沙土鼠双侧颈总动脉血流10 min,造成缺血再灌注模型;测定再灌注后脑组织中丙二醛(MDA)水平,还原型谷胱甘肽(GSH)含量,超歧化氧化酶(SOD)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-PX)和钾、钠-ATP酶(Na ,K -ATPase)活性,脑水含量,钠、钾离子浓度及海马CA1区神经细胞存活百分数.结果表明:E-DHA预处理显著降低缺血再灌注沙土鼠脑组织MDA水平,阻止GSH含量、GSH-PX和Na ,K -ATPase活性下降,而对SOD的活性未表现出明显作用;E-DHA亦调节缺血再灌注沙土鼠脑组织钠、钾离子浓度,减轻缺血再灌注所致的脑水肿和神经细胞死亡.提示E-DHA对脑缺血再灌注脑损伤有显著保护作用,机制可能其与抗氧化作用有关.     

对流边界层顶部夹卷速度参数化的分析研究

应用 1979年 7月美国CIRCE试验边界层观测资料对两个夹卷速度参数化方案进行了对比验证 ,结果表明 :基于简单夹卷层结构模型的参数化方案we/w =A·Ri- 1 只适用于自由对流边界层 ,当对流边界层中存在较强机械湍流时 ,该方案变得不再适用 ;而基于“侵吞模型”的参数化方案we/w =B·θ /(Γzi)则不仅适用于自由对流边界层 ,对于含有较强机械湍流的对流边界层也能较好地符合 ,因而具有较强的适用性 .当对流边界层受机械湍流和浮力湍流共同驱动时 ,仅以浮力对流速度w 表征混合层垂直湍流速度尺度是不恰当的 ,还应该包含机械湍流的贡献 .对比验证表明 ,这一改进非常有效 ,不仅使物理意义更加合理 ,也使夹卷速度参数化方案与实际大气状况符合得更好     

兽药添加剂喹乙醇对水生生物的毒理学研究

兽药添加剂喹乙醇是一种在畜禽及水产养殖中应用广泛的促生长剂 ,但其安全性仍存在较大争议 ,使用不当或过量使用会对环境构成潜在危害 .采用斑马鱼和鲤鱼作为生物材料 ,分别研究了兽药添加剂喹乙醇对斑马鱼的急性毒性、对斑马鱼胚胎发育的影响及对鲤鱼肾细胞DNA的损伤 .急性毒性试验表明 ,96hrLC50 为 1 996.87mg/L ;胚胎发育试验实验结果表明 ,96hrEC50 为2 2 1 .2 0mg/L ;单细胞凝胶电泳试验结果表明 ,喹乙醇能引起较大的DNA损伤 ,与空白对照相比有极显著性差异 (P <0 .0 1) ,并在设定的剂量范围内呈现一定的剂量效应关系
