Neonatal rats were injected with 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA) for chemical sympathectomy. The rats were treated with restraint stress when they grew up to 56 d. It has-been found that the generation of immunosuppressive protein of stress (ISPS) is significantly reduced, suggesting that peripheral sympathetic nerve plays an important role in mediating the generation of ISPS.  相似文献

There are high preclinical attrition rates in current drug discovery. The efficient assessment approach in the high throughout candidate drugs screening still needs great improvement. We propose two hypotheses. First, both drug action process and biological process can be converted to a common space of gene or gene product profiling. Second, the strength of drug action on biological process can be realized in the context of biological network. Based on the above hypotheses, we establish an algorithm termed Network-based Assessment for Drug Action (NADA) to assess the action strength of candidate drugs on certain biological processes. Then NADA is used to prioritize the effects of six compounds from traditional Chinese medicine on endothelial cell migration, a simple process defined by Gene Ontology, in the biological network specific for a given pathological process, angiogenesis. The computational results are subsequently tested by the experiment on the migration of Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells in vitro. The experimental ranks for six compounds generally agree with the predicted output of NADA. NADA also outperforms the DAVID and meet/min methods in terms of the experimental orders, suggesting that the network topological features may have a key role in catching the mechanistic relationship between drug action and biological process. Hopefully, the progress of network biology approaches for deciphering complex diseases will further expedite the preclinical screening and accelerate the development of treatment modalities.  相似文献

Mnions were co-doped in yttrium aluminum garnet doped cerium(YAG:Ce) phosphors as a co-activator and host lattice element using the co-precipitation method.These ions broadened the emission spectra of the pure YAG:Ce phosphor,which is caused by the 2E-4A2,5E-5T2 or 1T2-5T2 transition.From our X-ray diffraction results,we observed that Ce3+(1.032 ) was substituted at the Y3+(0.900 ) site,and Mn4+(0.538 ) and Mn3+(0.67 ) were substituted at the Al3+(0.535 ) site.The chromaticity color co-ordinates of YAG:Ce0.06 is(0.203,0.167),and the indices of YAG:Ce0.06,Mn0.04 and YAG:Ce0.06,Mn0.08 are(0.249,0.181) and(0.233,0.194),respectively.The manganese co-doped yttrium aluminum garnet doped cerium blended with the YAG:Ce phosphor showed improved white light emission.  相似文献

The systematically poorly known ciliate genus Conadylostoma was erected by Vincent in 1826.About 10 morphotypes have been reported,but any molecular investigations concerning this group SO far are lacking.In this work,the small subunit ribosomal RNA (SS rRNA)gene of three marine Conaylostoma species was sequenced,by which the phylogenetic trees were constructed by distance-matrix,maximum parsimony and Bayesian inference methods.The results show that(1)all the trees have similar topologies with high supports;(2)Condylostoma is mostly related to the genus Condylostentor;and(3)three Condylostoma species as well as Conadylostentor auriculatus cluster together and form a sister group with other heterotrichs.This is moderately consistent with the assessment of phylo-genetic relationships of Conaylostoma-related heterotrichs from the morphological information.The phylogenetic relationship of some other related heterotrichs,Peritromus,Fotlictllina,Stentor and Blepharisma,has been also discussed.  相似文献
