德国战后科学研究的重建

德国科学研究的重建分为两步．第一步是二战结束后在西德，第二步是1989年两个德国重新统一之后有必要在东德重建。大学在科学重建、在科研和教育中起了决定性作用。德国科学基金会（DFG）通过资助研究项目给予了很大的支持。此外马普学会和马普研究所是德国基础研究重建的重要支柱，一个马普研究所有一个或多个优秀科学家为所长，决定了这个研究所的方向。     

Tonhöheempfindung («pitch») und akustisches Trauma

Summary The exposure of a human ear to a very loud pure tone produces not only an increase of the threshold but also modifications of the pitch. These observations lead to a new «two-place» mechanism of the inner ear, where pitch and loudness are perceived at two different and locally separated places of the basilar membrane.

Zur entwicklungsphysiologischen Wirkungsanalyse von antimitotischen Stoffen

Summary The cleavage mitoses of eggs of the fresh-water oligochete Tubifex may be irreversibly blocked, if treated during a relatively short time by solutions of certain antimitotic substances (benzoquinone, naphthoquinone or colchicine). It is also possible to inhibit tail regeneration in tadpoles of Rana or Xenopus by a single colchicine treatment during only 30 to 60 minutes. It is discussed whether this is due to irreversible loss of regeneration capacity or simply to an inhibition of the first regeneration processes.
