A Fault Detection Mechanism in Erasure-Code Byzantine Fault-Tolerance Quorum

Fault-tolerance is increasingly significant for large-scale storage systems in which Byzantine failure of storage nodes may happen. Traditional Byzantine Quorum systems that tolerate Byzantine failures by using replication have two main limitations： low space-efficiency and static quorum variables. We propose an Erasure-code Byzantine Fault-tolerance Quorum that can provide high reliability with far lower storage overhead than replication by adopting erasure code as redundancy scheme. Through read/write operations of clients and diagnose operation of supervisor, our Quorum system can detect Byzantine nodes, and dynamically adjust system size and fault threshold. Simulation results show that our method improves performance for the Quorum with relatively small quorums.     

壮族学生英语学习中母语的正向迁移

外语学习中母语迁移的影响是必然的。母语的迁移有两种:负向迁移和正向迁移。负向迁移往往会导致学习困难和错误,不利于目的语的学习;正向迁移在母语与目的语有相同形式时会出现,有利于目的语的学习。壮语在语言形式和结构及某些思维方式上比汉语更接近英语,在壮族学生的英语教学中,教师应通过英语和壮语的比较教学来充分利用正向迁移的影响,减少负面迁移的影响。     

Numerical investigation on the self-excited oscillation of wet steam flow in a supersonic turbine cascade

The self-excited flow oscillation due to supercritical heat addition during the condensation process in wet steam turbine is an important issue. With an Eulerian/Eulerian model, the self-excited oscillation of wet steam flow in a supersonic turbine cascade is investigated. A proper inlet supercooling results in the transition from steady flow to self-excited oscillating flow in the cascade of steam turbine. The frequency dependency on the inlet supercooling is not monotonic. The flow oscillation leads to non-synchronous periodical variation of the inlet and outlet mass flow rate. The aerodynamic force on the blade varies periodically due to the self-excited flow oscillation. With the frequency lies between 18.1?80.64 Hz, the oscillating flow is apt to act with the periodical variation of the inlet supercooling due to stator rotor interaction in a syntonic pattern, and results in larger aerodynamic force on the blade. The loss in the oscillating flow increases 20.64% compared with that in the steady flow.     

Microbial starch-binding domains are superior to granule-bound starch synthase I for anchoring luciferase to potato starch granules

Microbial starch-binding domains (SBD) and granule-bound starch synthase I (GBSSI) are proteins which are accumulated in potato starch granules. The efficiency of SBD and GBSSI for targeting active luciferase reporter proteins to granules during starch biosynthesis was compared. GBSSI or SBD sequences were fused to the N- or C-terminus of the luciferase (LUC) gene, via an artificial Pro-Thr encoding linker sequence. The genes were introduced into an amylose-free (amf) potato mutant. It appeared that SBD was superior to GBSSI as a targeting sequence, mainly because the luciferase retained higher activity in the SBD-containing fusion proteins than in the GBSSI-containing ones.     

A New Digital Multilevel Proxy Signature Scheme Based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography

Based on the analysis of elliptic curve digital signature algorithm（ECDSA）,aiming at multilevel proxy signature in which the original signer delegates the digital signature authority to several proxies and its security demands, a new multilevel proxy signature scheme based on elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem （ECDLP） is presented and its security are proved.     

TaCl_5-NaCl二元系气态配合物生成热力学

白腐菌改性桉木CTMP浆的漂白研究

利用白腐菌改性处理可以显著提高机械浆的强度性能,有利于拓宽机械浆的应用范围.本文采用白腐菌Trametes hirsute 196对桉木CTMP浆进行改性处理,并探讨了白腐菌处理后纸浆的漂白工艺.研究结果表明:白腐菌处理使桉木CTMP浆白度值从49.6%下降到37.8%,且这种改性后纸浆的可漂性较差,H2O2和Na2S2O4单段漂后纸浆白度均在60%以下,但采用Na2S2O4—H2O2两段组合漂白工艺可以使漂后Bio-CTMP浆白度达到71.3%.
