蜕皮激素对双斑蟋后足胫节再生的影响

通过对双斑蟋(Gryllus bimaculatus)若虫施加不同剂量蜕皮激素(MH)并进行观察、记录、分析,探讨了蜕皮激素对其后足胫节再生的影响.实验结果表明,适量的蜕皮激素可以使双斑蟋若虫再生期间的蜕皮间隔缩短,胫节再生的长度加大.过量的蜕皮激素则抑制若虫胫节的再生甚至造成若虫死亡.     

Fibronectin and VLA-4 in haematopoietic stem cell-microenvironment interactions

The self-renewal and differentiation of haematopoietic stem cells occurs in vivo and in vitro in direct contact with cells making up the haematopoietic microenvironment. In this study we used adhesive ligands and blocking antibodies to identify stromal cell-derived extracellular matrix proteins involved in promoting attachment of murine haematopoietic stem cells. Here we report that day-12 colony-forming-unit spleen (CFU-S12)5 cells and reconstituting haematopoietic stem cells attach to the C-terminal, heparin-binding fragment of fibronectin by recognizing the CS-1 peptide of the alternatively spliced non-type III connecting segment (IIICS) of human plasma fibronectin. Furthermore, CFU-S12 stem cells express the alpha 4 subunit of the VLA-4 integrin receptor, which is known to be a receptor for the CS-1 sequence, and monoclonal antibodies against the integrin alpha 4 subunit of VLA-4 block adhesion of CFU-S12 stem cells to plates coated with the C-terminal fibronectin fragment. Finally, polyclonal antibodies against the integrin beta 1 subunit of VLA-4 inhibit the formation of CFU-S12-derived spleen colonies and medullary haematopoiesis in vivo following intravenous infusion of antibody-treated bone marrow cells.

直接利用太阳光激发光催化剂分解水得到氢气和氧气,是极具诱惑力的一个研究方向,而目前面临的难点之一是已发现的光催化剂难以在可见光激发下具有持续、稳定的性能和较高的分解水的效率,因此找到新的可见光激发光催化剂是非常必要的.本文介绍了该领域的最新研究成果,并对可见光光激发催化剂分解水的机理进行了阐述.     

唱响白族歌谣我们踏歌而来——"中日白族歌谣文化学术研讨会"会议综述

歌谣是一个民族最古老的记忆，是反映一个民旋社会历史演变的活化石，要探寻一个民族的历史足迹和社会生活，歌谣是最好的标本。白族民间文学源远流长，但白族歌谣研究却一直是一个被遗忘的角落，到现在为止，收集整理多，理论研究少；社会学研究多，立体研究少。有鉴于此，大理学院与日本亚洲民族文化学会于2006年8月20日至24日在云南省大理州共同举办“中日白族歌谣文化学术研讨会”，抛砖引玉，以期引起国内外学界同仁的研究目光，共同关注以歌谣为代表的白族文化。     

γ射线智能密度计电路设计

阐述了γ射线智能密度计的测量原理.设计了以C8051F005为核心的信号处理单元,并配有RS485通信接口4、~20 mA电流环输出、FM12864液晶显示器以及测量密度的显示.     

T cell and T cell subset determination in normal peripheral blood: comparison of the indirect immunofluorescence and lymphocytotoxicity techniques

We compared a simple complement-dependent lymphocytotoxicity test with a widely used indirect immunofluorescence procedure to enumerate total T, T helper, and T suppressor lymphocytes in normal blood samples. Results with the two techniques were closely similar.     

Dynamics of Drosophila embryonic patterning network perturbed in space and time using microfluidics

Biochemical networks are perturbed both by fluctuations in environmental conditions and genetic variation. These perturbations must be compensated for, especially when they occur during embryonic pattern formation. Complex chemical reaction networks displaying spatiotemporal dynamics have been controlled and understood by perturbing their environment in space and time. Here, we apply this approach using microfluidics to investigate the robust network in Drosophila melanogaster that compensates for variation in the Bicoid morphogen gradient. We show that the compensation system can counteract the effects of extremely unnatural environmental conditions--a temperature step--in which the anterior and posterior halves of the embryo are developing at different temperatures and thus at different rates. Embryonic patterning was normal under this condition, suggesting that a simple reciprocal gradient system is not the mechanism of compensation. Time-specific reversals of the temperature step narrowed down the critical period for compensation to between 65 and 100 min after onset of embryonic development. The microfluidic technology used here may prove useful to future studies, as it allows spatial and temporal regulation of embryonic development.     

A soft solid surface on Titan as revealed by the Huygens Surface Science Package

The surface of Saturn's largest satellite--Titan--is largely obscured by an optically thick atmospheric haze, and so its nature has been the subject of considerable speculation and discussion. The Huygens probe entered Titan's atmosphere on 14 January 2005 and descended to the surface using a parachute system. Here we report measurements made just above and on the surface of Titan by the Huygens Surface Science Package. Acoustic sounding over the last 90 m above the surface reveals a relatively smooth, but not completely flat, surface surrounding the landing site. Penetrometry and accelerometry measurements during the probe impact event reveal that the surface was neither hard (like solid ice) nor very compressible (like a blanket of fluffy aerosol); rather, the Huygens probe landed on a relatively soft solid surface whose properties are analogous to wet clay, lightly packed snow and wet or dry sand. The probe settled gradually by a few millimetres after landing.
