Kompaktes Material und konzentrische Membranstrukturen im Zytoplasma von Zellen der Zona fasciculata finden sich um Mitochondrien und Lipidtropfen.     

Some meiotic consequences of ethyl methane sulphonate and the interaction of copper or zinc

Résumé Des semences sèches d'orge ont été traitées respectivement par des solutions d'EMS et d'EMS additionnées de sulfate de cuivre ou de sulfate de zinc. Nous avons montré qu'il en résulte des aberrations chromosomiques en méïose au cours de la génération traitée (X1). L'adjonction aux solutions de l'un ou de l'autre sel n'a pas accru la quantité de lésions observées, mais a fortement modifié la proportion des différents types d'aberrations chromosomiques.

Summary In a preliminary series of experiments, it was noted that dairy bulls who refused to mount the cow for a long time, could be induced to mount it again when acoustically stimulated by specific calls of cows emitted by a magnetophone. In these conditions, the reaction time of the bulls was also shorter, while ejaculated quantities did not differ from those obtained before the experiments. It is suggested that this rather simple procedure could be helpful when the use of bulls as teasers raises difficulties.
