Frequent mutations of chromatin remodeling genes in transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder

Transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) is the most common type of bladder cancer. Here we sequenced the exomes of nine individuals with TCC and screened all the somatically mutated genes in a prevalence set of 88 additional individuals with TCC with different tumor stages and grades. In our study, we discovered a variety of genes previously unknown to be mutated in TCC. Notably, we identified genetic aberrations of the chromatin remodeling genes (UTX, MLL-MLL3, CREBBP-EP300, NCOR1, ARID1A and CHD6) in 59% of our 97 subjects with TCC. Of these genes, we showed UTX to be altered substantially more frequently in tumors of low stages and grades, highlighting its potential role in the classification and diagnosis of bladder cancer. Our results provide an overview of the genetic basis of TCC and suggest that aberration of chromatin regulation might be a hallmark of bladder cancer.     

Common variation at 10p12.31 near MLLT10 influences meningioma risk

To identify susceptibility loci for meningioma, we conducted a genome-wide association study of 859 affected individuals (cases) and 704 controls with validation in two independent sample sets totaling 774 cases and 1,764 controls. We identified a new susceptibility locus for meningioma at 10p12.31 (MLLT10, rs11012732, odds ratio = 1.46, P(combined) = 1.88 × 10(-14)). This finding advances our understanding of the genetic basis of meningioma development.     

复合土钉墙中搅拌桩对变形及土钉拉力的影响

复合土钉墙中的水泥搅拌桩对于减小基坑水平位移、改善土钉的受力状态有重要作用,但目前对于搅拌桩在复合土钉墙中这一作用的研究多局限在定性探讨,未进行较为量化的分析,在复合土钉墙的设计中也一般将搅拌桩作为安全储备.文中通过对复合土钉墙的有限元分析,对复合土钉墙中不同搅拌桩排数、长度及不同土层情况进行了对比研究.结果表明,设置不同排数的搅拌桩对于复合土钉墙的受力机理、变形特性、土钉拉力大小及分布均有较大影响,1~2排搅拌桩较为合理,过多的搅拌桩排数可能会导致复合土钉墙出现重力式挡墙的受力、变形性态,增加上部土钉的拉力.     

固定化植物酯酶-显色剂传感膜的制备与性能

采用聚乙烯醇(PVA)与四乙氧基硅烷(TEOS)通过原位溶胶-凝胶法制备了PVA/SiO2有机/无机杂化溶胶,并将显色剂和植物酯酶分散于溶胶中,干燥成膜,得到一类透明度高、亲水-亲丙酮性可调、贮存性好的传感膜.该传感膜在乙酸-α-萘酯溶液中,会于可见光520 nm处出现一个新的吸收峰.传感膜在制备后的12天内活性明显下降,之后基本保持稳定,并且冷藏活性下降率要比室温保存的小很多.但不论是冷藏还是在室温下保存,被固定在杂化膜中的酶活稳定性都比在溶液状态下的明显提高.     

磁带库随机I/O缓冲调度算法的性能

为了提高磁带设备的在线存储效率,提出了一种磁带库缓冲调度算法.该算法采用磁盘驱动器做缓存,将磁带库设备虚拟为逻辑块设备使用.同时,提出了主动写回以及读预取方法,将磁带库的随机读写操作顺序化,以改善系统随机读写性能.文中还对算法性能进行了详细分析,并利用仿真方法对算法进行了测试,结果证明系统集合I/O和单I/O响应时间能够得到明显改善.     

现代网络业务流的几个基本定律

为了采用有物理意义的参数,在多个时间尺度下对现代网络业务流进行建模,考察了网络流量长相关(LRD)的基本特征,提出了业务流中满足的几个基本定律,揭示了在流量中描述LRD定量关系的参数cγ(或cf)、流量聚集级m、平均到达率l之间的基本关系,并通过实际测量的数据加以验证.所提出的定律表明:(1)流量确实存在LRD行为;(2)平均到达率(TCP和IP流等)与参数cγ(或cf)存在一定的统计定量关系.     

相同条件下大样本沥青混合料的疲劳性能

采用一个沥青混合料小梁试件大样本,在相同条件下进行了应变控制疲劳试验研究,分析了沥青混合料试件疲劳寿命、初始模量和累计耗散能的分布规律,探讨了疲劳寿命与初始模量和累计耗散能的关系,以及疲劳寿命、初始模量和累计耗散能与试件空隙率之间的关系.试验结果表明:应变控制疲劳寿命数据的离散性大;沥青混合料的疲劳寿命、累计耗散能和初始模量呈三参数W eibull分布和对数三参数W eibull分布,三参数W eibull分布可以用于分析沥青混合料的疲劳数据;相同条件下,试件的疲劳寿命与初始模量数据线性和对数线性负相关,与累积耗散能数据呈现非常良好的线性正相关,疲劳寿命对数和累积耗散能对数与空隙率负相关性较好;初始模量与空隙率的相关性不明显.文中的研究结果验证和揭示了沥青混合料的应变控制疲劳破坏规律.
