本文根据弹性理论基本原理,简化计算了辊颈上产生的冷热应力值,从理论上证明了该轧辊破断的主要原因是由于设计不当造成了辊颈局部摩擦温升,又由于采用不适当的冷却方式而造成辊颈表面的切向正应力。摸拟试验证明了上述结论的正确性。

Genetically restricted suppressor T-cell clones derived from lepromatous leprosy lesions

Leprosy is a spectral disease in which immune responses to Mycobacterium leprae correlate with the clinical, bacteriological and histopathological manifestations of disease, so study of its pathology provides insights into immunoregulatory mechanisms in man. At the tuberculoid pole, patients have few lesions in the skin which contain rare organisms and are able to mount strong cell-mediated immune responses to M. leprae antigens. In contrast, at the lepromatous pole, patients have disseminated skin lesions containing large numbers of acid-fast bacilli and are selectively unresponsive to antigens of M. leprae. M. leprae-induced suppressor cells derived from peripheral blood have been reported to be active in vitro, yet their in vivo significance has remained unclear. Because the focal point of the immune response to M. leprae is the skin lesion consisting of lymphocytes and macrophages, we have recently developed methods for isolating lymphocytes from skin biopsies of leprosy patients. We report here that two T8 clones derived from lepromatous leprosy skin biopsies, in the presence of lepromin, suppress concanavalin A (Con-A) responses both of peripheral blood mononuclear cells and of T4 clones in an HLA-D (HLA, histocompatibility locus antigen)-restricted manner. Moreover, these T8 clones suppressed responses of HLA-D-matched, but not HLA-D-mismatched antigen-responsive T4 clones to M. leprae antigens, indicating that T-cell suppression is major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-restricted at some level in man.

Rhodamine isothiocyanate coupled peanut lectin for quantitative studies of D-galactosyl receptors of neuroblastoma cells

Summary Rhodamine-peanut agglutinin conjugate has been obtained without alteration of the lectin activity. This conjugate interacts specifically with terminal D-galactosyl glycoconjugates. Such receptors are found on neuroblastoma differentiated or undifferentiated cell membranes. The density and distribution of these galactosyl sites are different after neuraminidase treatment.Acknowledgment. Effects of the disaggregation of high—polymerized particles in guard cell vacuoles on osmoregulation of stomatal aperture（stomata opening）

Observation under an electron microscope reveals that in closed and open stomata of V.faba,the average volume of particles in guard cell vacuoles(GCV) reduces about 3 orders in magnitude,while the distribution density of the particles increases about 2 orders of magnitude.By using the method of the ration of fluorescent emissions with laser scanning confocal microscopy,the monitoring to stomata opening shows that during 10 to 30 s before the first distinguishable aperture of stomata,there is a change of pH in GCV about-0.5 units.A quick stomatal opening immediately follows the changes of pH in GCV to reach a steady aperture about 12μm in 100-200s.This work proposes a model for the osmoregulation in GCV for stomatal opening.The proposed osmoregulation is related to the disaggregation of some polymerized particles inside GCV,which is probably induced by a-ΔpH in the vacuole.This model describes a process of osmoregulation that avoids the massive energy consuming transportation across cell membranes,which is a foundation of the current chemiosmotic hypothesis.This model is a supplement to the multiple controlling hypothesis for the stomatal movement,which widens research principle ideas for other quick movements in plants.     

Keggin结构钛和过氧钛一取代钨硅杂多配合物氧化还原性质的研究

采用电化学方法研究了钛和过氧钛一取代Ｋｅｇｇｉｎ结构杂多配合物α－K_5H[SiW_11Tio_46].4H_2O和α,β_i-M_6H_11[SiW_11(TiO_39].xH_2O(i=1,2,3) 的氧化还原性质。实验结果表明：Ti-O-O含 配合物中Ｏ_２~(２-)的不可逆还原波出现在－０．１Ｖ左右，由于Ｏ_２~(２－)的存在明显地增强了配合物的氧化还原性能．故过氧杂多配合物可作氧化型催化剂．
