Respective roles of short-and long-range interactions in protein folding

A new method was presented to discuss the respective roles of short- and long-range interactions in protein folding. It‘s based on an off-lattice model, which is also being called as toy model. Simulated annealing algorithm was used to search its native conformation. When it is applied to analysis proteins lagt and laho, we find that helical segment catmot fold into native conformation without the influence of long-range interactions. That‘s to say that long-range interactions are the main determinants in protein folding.     

Fast dating of Yongzheng copper coins in tsing empire by SEM-EDS

Twenty Yongzheng copper coins were fast dat-ing by X-ray energy dispersive spectrometer with scanning electron microscope (SEM-EDS) according to official ingredient. The 20 coins were classified in two groups according to the results. Group 1 represents the coins minted before AD 1 728 and group 2 represents the coins minted after AD 1 728. At concentration range (0.00%-5.13%), the distribution of lead is not homogeneous in the coins, and the largest diameter of lead inclusion is less than 15 μm. The official fineness degrade is supported.     

Rapid synthesis of ZSM-5 zeolite catalyst for amination of ethanolamine

ZSM-5 zeolite was rapidly synthesized in system containing ethylenediamine from the initial gel: (5-8) Na2O:44 EDA:A12O3:100 SiO2:4000 H2O. The crystals were lath-shaped. The effect of pretreatment and alkalinity on crystallinity was investigated. The pretreatment of silicate source can cut down the crystallization time. Tuning the system alkalinity and controlling crystallization time can ensure forming of pure crystal.

随着高等教育和期刊业的改革和发展,高校学报面临着前所未有的机遇和挑战,学报是反映本校教学科研成果的窗口功能定位受到了较大的冲击。学报界有种共识：办学报的目的应该是“提高”而不仅仅是“反映”。因此,应使学报在更好地为本校教学科研服务的同时,也要为整个社会服务,努力拓展学报的双向展示功能：争取校内优稿,提高展示功能的深度;大胆开放办刊,提高展示功能的力度。     

CTS及M-CTS与Men+的配位

进行了ＣＴＳ的降解,研究了ＣＴＳ及Ｍ－ＣＴＳ与Ｍｅｎ＋的配位．用光谱分析ＣＴＳ及Ｍ－ＣＴＳ与Ｍｅｎ＋的配位结果,提出ＣＴＳ及Ｍ—ＣＴＳ的配位规律．即不同分子量ＣＴＳ的配位能力,低分子量大于高分子量;不同基团的配位能力：－ＮＨ２＞＞—ＯＨ＞—Ｃ＝Ｏ不同金属离子与相同分子量的ＣＴＳ配位,基本遵循与游离氨配位规律．     

Vesicular restriction of synaptobrevin suggests a role for calcium in membrane fusion

Release of neurotransmitter occurs when synaptic vesicles fuse with the plasma membrane. This neuronal exocytosis is triggered by calcium and requires three SNARE (soluble-N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor attachment protein receptors) proteins: synaptobrevin (also known as VAMP) on the synaptic vesicle, and syntaxin and SNAP-25 on the plasma membrane. Neuronal SNARE proteins form a parallel four-helix bundle that is thought to drive the fusion of opposing membranes. As formation of this SNARE complex in solution does not require calcium, it is not clear what function calcium has in triggering SNARE-mediated membrane fusion. We now demonstrate that whereas syntaxin and SNAP-25 in target membranes are freely available for SNARE complex formation, availability of synaptobrevin on synaptic vesicles is very limited. Calcium at micromolar concentrations triggers SNARE complex formation and fusion between synaptic vesicles and reconstituted target membranes. Although calcium does promote interaction of SNARE proteins between opposing membranes, it does not act by releasing synaptobrevin from synaptic vesicle restriction. Rather, our data suggest a mechanism in which calcium-triggered membrane apposition enables syntaxin and SNAP-25 to engage synaptobrevin, leading to membrane fusion.     

Integration of telomere sequences with the draft human genome sequence

Telomeres are the ends of linear eukaryotic chromosomes. To ensure that no large stretches of uncharacterized DNA remain between the ends of the human working draft sequence and the ends of each chromosome, we would need to connect the sequences of the telomeres to the working draft sequence. But telomeres have an unusual DNA sequence composition and organization that makes them particularly difficult to isolate and analyse. Here we use specialized linear yeast artificial chromosome clones, each carrying a large telomere-terminal fragment of human DNA, to integrate most human telomeres with the working draft sequence. Subtelomeric sequence structure appears to vary widely, mainly as a result of large differences in subtelomeric repeat sequence abundance and organization at individual telomeres. Many subtelomeric regions appear to be gene-rich, matching both known and unknown expressed genes. This indicates that human subtelomeric regions are not simply buffers of nonfunctional 'junk DNA' next to the molecular telomere, but are instead functional parts of the expressed genome.     

分布式PowerBuilder应用程序的调试策略和方法

由于分布式应用的独特性,使得分布式应用程序的调试远比单机应用程序的调试复杂得多。文中对分布式应用程序提出一种“先单机单机程调试,次单机多进程调试,最后再多机远程调试”的调试策略,给出在PowerBuilder开发环境下的实施方法,并对分布式PB应用程序的常用调试工具、技术和调试中应注意的问题进行探讨。所述策略和方法知开发《广西变通高校计算机等级考试管理系统MCT》网络版中得到成功使用,证明是正确可行的。     

塔里木盆地前震旦-石炭纪构造与地层组合特征

通过对塔里木盆地前震旦-石炭纪构造演化与地层组合特征的分析研究,将该盆地构造和地层系统划分为2大组合系统5个构造-地层组合.前震旦系为混合片麻岩、浅变质岩组成的地台基底,震旦纪发生板内裂陷形成坳拉槽,早寒武世-奥陶纪和石炭纪是盆地两次大的海侵期,沉积了富含烃类的碳酸盐岩建造,志留-泥盆纪为克拉通边缘隆升阶段,发育浅海相碎屑岩及碳酸盐岩建造.     

一种小额支付协议的研究与设计

分析了PayWord这种小额支付协议,针对PayWord的一些关于交易原子性的局限性,提出了一种新的支付协议--CertWord,此协议沿用PayWord协议的Payword链来表示货币,充分利用交易证书对交易信息进行签名,并记录交易步骤的状态,从流程上保证交易的原子性。
