Construction of a bacterial artificial chromosome library for Gossypium herbaceum var. africanum

Gossypium herbaceum var. africanum is the only wild cotton species within the cultivated diploid G. herbaceum. As the A sub-genome donor of tetraploid cotton, it is characterized by its resistance to insects, diseases, and other adversities. We have constructed the first bacterial artificial chromosome library (BAC) for G. herbaceum var. africanum. With high quality and broad coverage, this library includes 75000 clones, with an average insert size of about 115 kb and fewer than 4% empty clones. Our library is approximately five-fold the size of the A-genome (1667 Mb) and it provides 99.3% probability for isolating genes of interest or their sequences. Using nine SSR markers that are located on five different chromosomes and linked with resistance to Verticillium wilt, seven of nine could amplify the 40 superpools and got 1-14 hits. Because of its moderate wide coverage and relative large insert size, this library will be an important genomic resource for classifying and analyzing the evolution of cotton species, as well as for isolating disease-resistance genes and control elements.     

对蜗牛Cepaea Nemoralis多态性变异与杂合性相互关系的研究

Cepaea壳颜色与壳样式(pattern)上的多态性一直被认为与壳可见外型无关,而是由杂合优势所决定.检验这种说法的一种途径就是察看是否显性表型的变异性要比隐性表型的变异性低.研究对两组蜗牛壳进行观察,两组样本内个体数分别是1 972和5 423个,经分析,隐性表型的变异性比显性表型显著(P0.05).在同一壳中,对壳测量所得数据进行相关分析,表性性状差异的证据未找到.如果变异的差异是真实的,那么将表明或者是可见的壳外型是不重要的,多态性由于杂合平衡决定的,或者是这种多态性平衡的进化是由壳外形的自然选择所维持的.     

茶树早期光诱导蛋白1基因的克隆和表达分析

报道了茶树早期光诱导蛋白1基因(CsELIP1)的cDNA和DNA序列的克隆.该基因编码蛋白含190个氨基酸残基,其基因组序列含有两个内含子(长度分别为129和855 bp).表达分析显示,CsELIP1的mR-NA水平在常温加较强光照(200μmol.m-2.s-1)和低温(5℃)弱光时上调都较少,但在5℃加200μmol.m-2.s-1时被强烈上调,表明CsELIP1的表达可能有一种在其他植物ELIP基因表达中存在的PSⅡ光合效率介导的调节方式.也暗示CsELIP1基因的生理作用可能涉及到茶叶细胞的光保护作用.     

大型藏语平衡语料库建设中样本类别号的研究

藏文语料库是计算机研究藏语规律的素材,建设藏语语料库是藏文信息处理研究的基础和前提。语料库建设中样本的类别号是识别样本类别的依据,也是关联藏文语料信息库、样本文档和使用者的纽带,在语料库建设中非常重要。文章结合藏语平衡语料库的建设,设计了藏文语料数据库,划分了藏文语料库的类别并设计实现了样本类别号的产生方法。

几类超椭圆丢番图方程组的解

利用初等方法及超椭圆丢番图方程x4-Dy2=1的解与Pell方程基本解的关系,研究由两个超椭圆方程x4-D1y2=1和y4-D2z2=1构成的方程组,证明了该方程组至多只有一组正整数解;对于D1,D2的四类取值,给出了其唯一正整数解的求解公式.本文结果还说明,有无穷多个非平方的正整数D1,D2,使该方程组有正整数解.     

Constrained oscillation of a bubble subjected to shock wave in microvessel

A three-phase coupled model of the gas–liquid–solid oscillation system is established to analyze the oscillation characteristics of a bubble inside a micro blood vessel with various radii and its shape changes with different interface boundaries. The results show that unlike the spherical symmetric oscillation in an unbounded fluid, the oscillating bubble has significant asymmetric characteristics under the constraint of a flexible microvessel, especially while its radius reduces to the same order of magnitude as that of the bubble. Moreover, the variation of microbubble motion, whether the geometric shape or oscillation feature, exhibits obvious differences in the micro blood vessel compared with the rigid wall. The reasons behind these phenomena are analyzed in this paper. The conclusions have significant importance in the understanding of the mechanism of microvessel injury in ultrasound therapy.

Preparation of konjac glucomannan and acrylamide grafted konjac glucomannan

Konjac glucomannan (KGM) with good water solubility was extracted and purified by a cheap and simple method including fat-extraction, protein-extraction, decolouring, centrifuge, precipitate and other procession from tubers of amorphophallus riveiri. Acrylamide grafted konjac glucomannan (AKGM) was prepared in the presence of Ce(IV) serving as initiator in order to elucidate its molecular weight. Results from the measurements of capillary viscosity by figuring out the specific viscosity and applying to Mark-Howink equation showed that the viscosity-average molecular weight of acrylamide grafted konjac glucomannan was about 9.58×10⁵.
