Abrupt climate change：Debate or action

Global abrupt climate changes have been documented by various climate records, including ice cores, ocean sediment cores, lake sediment cores, cave deposits, loess deposits and pollen records. The climate system prefers to be in one of two stable states, i.e. interstadial or stadial conditions, but not in between. The transition between two states has an abrupt character. Abrupt climate changes are, in general, synchronous in the northern hemisphere and tropical regions. The timescale for abrupt climate changes can be as short as a decade. As the impacts may be potentially serious, we need to take actions such as reducing CO2 emissions to the atmosphere.     

The Optimal Solution of the Model with Physical and Human Capital Adjustment Costs

We prove that the model with physical and human capital adjustment costs has optimal solution when the production function is increasing return and the structure of vetor fields of the model changes substantially when the prodution function from decreasing return turns to increasing return. And it is shown that the economy is improved when the coefficients of adjustment costs become small.     

A new class of variational equation problems

Abstract Applying an analysis method to a group of multivariable equations, a new class of variational equations are proved. Thismethod is more concise and more direct than the others. This result can be applied to some stochastic control models.

Classification of Four-symbol Orthogonal Arrays of Size 16 and 5(Maximal) Constraints

The enumeration of equivalence class of designs is an important combinatorial problem (see Clark and Dean, 2001, etc.). Zhang et al.(1995) present a concept of design equivalence. Based on this concept and subsequent the work (Pang 1996), classification of orthogonal arrays (OA's) of size 16 and 5 constraints is made and 72 kinds of equivalence classes are obtained. And the optimal arrays under an optimality criterion-maximum-minimum distance are found. Also, a very interesting combinatorial property is obtained as follows:

对酸性硅溶胶沉淀法生产超微细活性白炭黑的工艺进行了研究；探讨了生产过程中硅溶胶的ｐＨ值，反应终点ｐＨ值，反应温度以及分散剂等条件；制备了较高品质的产品，其性能接近或超过国外同类产品．     

伞花木染色体核型的研究

本文首次报道了国家二级保护植物伴花木（无患子科）的染色体数目，并对其核型进行了分析，结果表明：该种染色体的核型公式为：Ｋ（２ｎ）＝２２＝１６ｍ＋６ｓｍ，染色体属较对称的“２Ｂ”型。     

粉末冶金陶瓷模工艺中的快速脱蜡新技术

粉末冶金陶瓷模工艺是一种先进的过净形成形工艺．本文报道该工艺中一种新的脱蜡技术．采用快速加热、管径集中热量和定向导热传热综合方法，在陶瓷模和大部分蜡模材料处于较低温度下，使蜡模材料来不及发生显著的热膨胀而直接蒸发，得到脱蜡干净、外形完整的陶瓷模．     

多波长数据线性回归光度法同时测定钙和镁

本文研究了酸性铬蓝K体系用于同时测定钙和慎的显色条件，借助多波长线性回归法处理数据，提出光度测定钙和镁的简便方法，免去了分离手续。应用于三个水样中钙、镁含量的测定，结果满意。
