Serial nuclear transfer improves the development of interspecies reconstructed giant panda (Aluropoda melanoleuca) embryos

Interspecies somatic nuclear transfer (NT) may provide a new approach for preservation of the endangered rare species. Previous interspecies cloning studies have shown that a nucleus from a quiescent somatic cell supports early development of reconstructed embryos in the ooplasm from another species. In this study, we transferred nonquiescent somatic cells from a giant panda into the perivitelline space of the enucleated rabbit oocytes. After electrofusion (at the rate of 71.6%) and electrical activation, 4.2% of the panda-rabbit reconstructed embryos developed to blastocyst in vitro. For improving the development rate of reconstructed embryos, we used serial NT in this study, i.e. blastomeres from reconstructed morulae were transferred into the perivitelline space of the enucleated rabbit oocytes. The fusion rates in the groups of serial I, serial II and serial III were 79.5%, 84.1% and 78.0%, respectively, having no difference with that of somatic group. And the blastocyst rates in serial NT groups were 19.4%, 13.5% and 10.3%, respectively, which are significantly higher than that in somatic NT group. These results indicate that the nuclei from nonquiescent somatic cells can support early development of reconstructed embryos and serial NT can improve the development rate of interspecies reconstructed embryos. 混合稀土对AB5贮氢合金织构生长特性影响的PLS研究

利用偏最小二乘法（PLS）研究混合稀土组成对贮氢合金的织构生长特性的综合影响,并提出了合金织构择优取向的判据。对于平行于柱状晶织构,择优取向（101） (201)晶面受Nd的影响最为敏感,Ce的影响最小,同时Ce对择优取向的作用与La,Pr,Nd的作用相反;对于垂直柱状晶织构,择优取向（200） (110)晶面受Pr的影响最为敏感,而受Nd的影响最小。

Hemispherical variations in seismic velocity at the top of the Earth's inner core

Knowledge of the seismic velocity structure at the top of the Earth's inner core is important for deciphering the physical processes responsible for inner-core growth. Previous global seismic studies have focused on structures found 100 km or deeper within the inner core, with results for the uppermost 100 km available for only isolated regions. Here we present constraints on seismic velocity variations just beneath the inner-core boundary, determined from the difference in travel time between waves reflected at the inner-core boundary and those transmitted through the inner core. We found that these travel-time residuals-observed on both global seismograph stations and several regional seismic networks-are systematically larger, by about 0.8 s, for waves that sample the 'eastern hemisphere' of the inner core (40 degrees E to 180 degrees E) compared to those that sample the 'western hemisphere' (180 degrees W to 40 degrees E). These residuals show no correlation with the angle at which the waves traverse the inner core; this indicates that seismic anisotropy is not strong in this region and that the isotropic seismic velocity of the eastern hemisphere is about 0.8% higher than that of the western hemisphere.     

明胶-十二烷基硫酸钠复配体系表面活性的研究

对明胶－十二烷基硫酸钠(SDS)复配体系,研究了SDS浓度、明胶浓度、明胶种类及分子量对其表面活性的影响。实验结果表明,随着SDS浓度的增加,体系的表面张力降低,并在其变化曲线中有一“平台”区域,同时体系的乳化力增大,其乳化力顺序为纯SDS溶液>水解皮明胶－SDS>水解骨明胶－SDS>骨明胶－SDS>皮明胶－SDS体系;各体系的起泡力及其稳定性亦随之增大。而明胶浓度的增加导致了各明胶－SDS体系表面张力的增大,且明胶浓度对大分子明胶体系的影响较之小分子明胶体系要大;明胶浓度的增加降低了体系的泡沫稳定性;但明胶浓度及其种类、分子量对体系的乳化力影响不大。

一种基于视觉掩盖模型的数字水印技术

通过分析人的视觉特性提出一种视觉掩盖模型,得到该模型水印嵌入算法和水印检测算法。在DCT系统低频域上给典型的“Lena”图像嵌入水印后,进行压缩、加高斯噪声污染、滤波等试验,测试水印的稳健性。结果发现：水印输出响应非常高,有很好的鲁棒性,嵌入水印后的图像经一定的压缩、噪声污染、滤波等处理后仍可被检测到。
