This paper introduces the conception of open complex giant system and the methodology for dealing with the system, with stress on its profound significance in development of science and technology. The authors conclude that the reductionism underlying the exact science is not suitable to open complex giant system, and the only feasible alternative is the meta-synthetic engineering from the qualitative to the quantitative.

Finding global minima with a new dynamical evolutionary algorithm

A new dynamical evolutionary algorithm (DEA) based on the theory of statistical mechanics is presented. This algorithm is very different from the traditional evolutionary algorithm and the two novel features are the unique of selecting strategy and the determination of individuals that are selected to crossover and mutate. We use DEA to solve a lot of global optimization problems that are nonlinear, multimodal and multidimensional and obtain satisfactory results. 基于层面信息的路径优化

根据分层物体快速成型（LOM）中零件逐层累积的特点，从缩短加工时间、提高制件效率方面着手阐述了路径优化的必要性，针对LOM机的运动机理和软件数据结构，给出了扫描路径优化的原理，将图论中的便宜算法用于LOM机的扫描路径优化。     

永磁同步直线电机弱磁调速时的设计

从凸极率角度出发，对内部磁极结构电机提出了新的设计方法，为使电机的特性具有可比性，假设电机均运行于相同的基值点，并采取相同的控制策略，着重了研究凸极率（ld/lq)对电机最大可能速度，逆变器功能（VA）和电流控制特性的影响，所得结论对电机及其驱动系统的选择和有积极的参考指导作用。     

基于信号重构的一种系统仿真方法

本文根据信号重构的思想，提出了一种系统仿真方法。该方法是对时域矩阵仿真方法的扩展，即保留了时域矩阵方法快速性的特点，又提高了仿真精度。文中还对该方法的截断误差做出了估计，并证明了该方法的收敛性。最后，通过仿真例子说明了该方法的有效性。
