Electro-Pulse on Improving Steel Ingot Solidification Structure

Pulse Electric Discharging (PED) is a novel technique that can modify solidifying structure and reduce grain size. Its effects applied to the high carbon liquid steel were presented here. The macrostructure and microstructure of the high carbon alloy steel were also observed. Results show that (1 ) the length of columnar crystal at the edge of ingot without PED treatment is much longer than that with PED, and (2) the perlite lamellae of steel billets after deposed by PED are twisted and shortened. An explanation of those experimental results is given.     

Constructions of new plateaued functions from known ones

A number of methods for constructing new plateaued functions from known ones are presented. By properly combining the known plateaued functions it is possible to get highly nonlinear resilient plateaued functions. The order, resiliency and propagation characteristics of the constructed plateaued functions are discussed. We show the new functions could possess the desirable cryptographic property.     

基于Agent和数据挖掘的自适应入侵检测系统

入侵检测系统是网络安全保护体系中的一个重要组成部分,目前大多数入侵检测系统不能适应网络环境的变化,即不具备自适应性.针对这种情况,提出了一种入侵检测系统的自适应策略,该自适应策略由条件空间和策略空间构成,条件空间用来描述网络环境,策略空间用来描述采用的策略.对于条件空间中的某一具体的环境状态,在策略空间存在唯一的策略与之对应.在构建自适应策略的基础上,利用Agent和数据挖掘技术,设计了一个自适应入侵检测系统.模拟实验表明了该自适应策略的有效性.

Budget constraints in homogenous multi-unit auctions

A homogenous multi-unit auction model is studied in two conditions:One is that the bidders face budget constraints and another is that the bidders do not face budget constraints.Two equilibrium bidding strategies of each bidder are presented in these two conditions.By comparing them,the authors show that the equilibrium unit price bid in the presence of budget constraints will be less than that in the absence of budget constraints.The difference between the two equilibrium bids leads to the reduced revenue of the seller.And this difference will decrease as the number of the bidders increases.
