State Prediction of Chantic System Based on ANN Model

The choice of time delay and embedding dimension is very important to the phase space reconstruction of any chaotic time series.In this paper,we determine optimal time delay by computing autocorrelation function of time series,Optimal embedding dimension is given by means of the relation between embedding dimension and correlation dimension of chaotic time series,based on the methods above,we choose ANN model to appoximate the given true system.At the same time,a new algorithm is applied to determine the network Weights.At the end of this paper,the theory above is demonstrated through the research of time series generated by Logistic map.

Effects of light and temperature conditions on flowering in Mat Rush

The effects of photoperiod and light intensity on flowering in Mat Rush cv.Gangshan 3 were studied.The results showed that treatments with longer day length stimulated flowering significantly and increased stem flowering percentage(SFP),Plants treated with low light intensity at early stage had substantially reduced florets per cyme.SFP,tillers per plant and stem length.At middle and late stage,low light intensity significantly reduced SFP,The principal climatic factors affecting SFP were as follows:mean temperatures (MT) of the third ten-day perod(TDP) in December and of the second TDP in Febrary,actual sunlight hours(SH) of the third TDP in February and precipitation of the third TDP in March,A nolinear simulation model for SFP was establishe with experimental results and corresponding climatic data(See Eq.(2)).Simulation by the above equation yielded values the same as those observed from 1992 to 2000,indicating its accuracy in describing the relationship between flowering and light and temperature conditions.The interaction between vernalization and SH is also discussed in this paper.

Rule Extraction from Trained Artificial Neural Network Based on Genetic Algorithm

This paper discusses how to extract symbolic rules from trained artificial neural network (ANN) in domains involving classification using genetic algorithms (GA). Previous methods based on an exhaustive analysis of network connections and output values have already been demonstrated to be intractable in that the scale-up factor increases with the number of nodes and connections in the network. Some experiments explaining effectiveness of the presented method are given as well.     

Studies on the Renormalization of the Chiral Schwinger Model

The chiral Schwinger model is studied by the path-integral method. It is proved that the model is renormalizable only by the fermion wave function renormalization, and there is no wave function renormalization for the "photon", nor coupling constant renormalization. But when the chiral Schwinger model is added the Wess-Zumino term, all of the Green functions become finite. It is shown that the divergence structure of the anomalous theory is worse than that of a gauge invariant theory.
