一种更优的精度控制故障树解算方法

本文针对安全分析方法中故障树解算问题提出了一种完全依赖于所要求精度的近似算法——精度取舍法。详细给出了近似求解顶事件概率值的两个截断条件。结论表明，它在同时兼顾精度与时间的要求方面优于别的算法。

This paper introduces the conception of e-manufacturing and puts forward a reference architecture of e-manufacturing. Some features of e-manufacturing and three types of information sharing are discussed. An application for monitoring equipment with e-mail is given.

专利技术合同成交额年均增长达到90.09%,其中发明专利达到85.93%,反映出北京技术创新能力和水平在
不断提升,知识产权保护意识明显增强。制定专利保护和应用战略、加大有利于专利技术转移的鼓励政策力
度、建立“产学研”互动机制等措施,将进一步推动北京地区专利技术的转移和转化,并朝着专利技术产业
化方向发展。     

ANALYSIS AND COMPUTATIONAL ALGORITHM FOR QUEUES WITH STATE-DEPENDENT VACATIONS Ⅱ:M(n)/G/1/K

We study a single-server queueing system with state-dependent arrivals and general service-distribution.or simply M(n)/G/1/K.where the server follows an N policy and takes multiple vacationswhen the system is empty.We provide a recursive algorithm using the supplementary variable tech-nique to munerically compute the stationary queue length distribution of the system.The only inputrequirements are the Laplace-Stieltjes transforms of the service time distribution and the vacation timedistribution.and the state-dependent arrival rate.The computational complexity of the algorithm isO(K~3).     

The structure of beta-lactoglobulin and its similarity to plasma retinol-binding protein

Since its first isolation, bovine beta-lactoglobulin (BLG) has been an enigma: although it is abundant in the whey fraction of milk, its function is still not clear. The results of the many physicochemical studies on the protein need a structural interpretation. We report here the structure of the orthorhombic crystal form of cow BLG at pH 7.6, at a resolution of 2.8 A. It has an unusual protein fold, composed of two slabs of antiparallel beta-sheet, which shows a remarkable similarity to plasma retinol-binding protein. A possible binding site for retinol in BLG has been identified by model-building. This suggests a role for BLG in vitamin A transport and we have discovered specific receptors for the BLG-retinol complex in the intestine of neonate calves.
