Early Cambrian phosphatized blastula- and gastrula-stage animal fossils from southern Shaanxi

Marine invertebrate animal embryos and their early developmental products are of great significance to the study of taxonomy and phylogeny of early animals. A great number of phosphatized globular fossils were collected fromthe early Cambrian Kuanchuanpu Member (upper Dengying Formation), southern Shaanxi, and a nearly complete develo-pmental sequence—from a fertilized egg, via blastodisc formation, blastula development, blastodisc enlargement toward gastrulae, to tissue differentiation—can be discerned in this collection. This discovery provides unmatchable material for studies on the origin, taxonomy, radiation, and ontogeny of early metazoans.     

火灾自动探测的复合偏置滤波算法

提出了火灾探测的单信号偏置滤波算法和处理多传感器或复合传感器信号的复合偏置滤波算法,它可以应用单个火灾信号或综合两种信号特征计算信号超过预定门限的持续时间,有效地克服了干扰信号的影响,提高了火灾探测灵敏度和抗干扰性能．     

原油沥青质吸附与沉积对储层岩石润湿性和渗透率的影响

原油沥青质吸附引起的油藏岩石润湿性改变和沥青质沉积对储层孔喉的堵塞是造成储层损害、导致油井产能下降的重要机理之一。首先 ,采用改进的自吸速率法和分光光度法 ,研究了原油沥青质吸附所引起的砂岩岩样润湿指数的变化 ;然后 ,利用岩心流动实验方法 ,定量评价了稠油沥青质沉积对储层岩石渗透率的影响。实验结果表明 ,岩心润湿指数随沥青质吸附量的增加而减小 ,从而导致油相的相对渗透率降低。地层水的离子组成是影响水湿性的主要因素之一。地层水所含无机阳离子的化合价价数越高 ,它与沥青质的协同作用所引起的润湿指数下降的程度越大。储层岩心油相渗透率下降的程度与沥青质沉积量和储层岩心的原始渗透率有关 ,沉积量越大或原始渗透率越低 ,则油相渗透率下降幅度越大。因此 ,对于原油中富含沥青质的油藏 ,特别是稠油油藏 ,尽可能抑制沥青质的吸附和沉积是保护储层的一项重要措施。     

The Balang Fauna―A new early Cambrian Fauna from Kaili City, Guizhou Province

In April 2004, Wu Yishan, a teacher from Kaili No. 4 Middle School, took his students to Wenglingtang to conduct popular science activities. They found fossils of trilobites and eocrinoids in gray and gray-greenish silty shale, and calcareous, silty mudrock in the upper part of the lower Cambrian Balang Formation. In May 2004, we were invited to investigate the new discovery.

Nanostructured TiO2（B）:the effect of size and shape on anode properties for Li-ion batteries

Reducing the dimensions of electrode materials from the micron to the nanoscale can have a profound influence on their properties and hence on the performance of electrochemical devices,e.g.Li-ion batteries,that employ such electrodes.TiO2(B) has received growing interest as a possible anode for Li-ion batteries in recent years.It offers the possibility of higher energy storage compared with the commercialized Li4Ti5O12.Bulk,nanowire,nanotube,and nanoparticle morphologies have been prepared and studied.However,to date these materials have not be compared in one article.In the current review we first summarize the different synthesis methods for the preparation of nanostructured TiO2(B);then present the effects of size and shape on the electrochemical properties.Finally TiO2(B) with nanometer dimensions exhibit a higher capacity to store Li,regardless of rate,due to structural distortions inherent at the nanoscale.
