Résumé Le cervelet contient des quantités plus grandes d'ATP, d'ADP et de nucléotides totaux que le lobe frontal du cerveau ou la moelle cervicale. Ces différences ne sont pas trouvées avec l'AMP. Le contenu en glycogène, en glucose et en lactate est plus grand dans la moelle cervicale que dans le cervelet et dans le lobe frontal.

Effect of Ftorafur on acid phosphatase activity in the liver of mice with transplanted lymphatic leukaemia

Zusammenfassung Nachweis, dass Ftorafur, N₁-(2-Furanidyl)-5-Fluorouracil das Überleben leukämischer Mäuse deutlich steigert und ausserdem als Lysosomen-Stabilisator wirken könnte, wobei die in vivo Stabilisierung der Lysosomen den antileukämischen Effekt dieses Zytostatikums unterstützen könnte.     

The effects of parabiotic union with a normal partner on the blood tissue of the b/b rat suffering from an inheritable anemia

Summary The parabiotic union of a b/b rat, suffering from a red blood cell anemia, with a normal partner will restore to normal the functioning of this type of blood cell. The effect of parabiotic union is evident for several weeks following the separation of the parabiotic partners. It would be logical to conclude that the normal partner supplies a factor absent in the anemic animal needed for normal functioning of the red cell.

Summary Scarce and randomly oriented oxytalan fibres are present in the connective tissue of dental pulp in both deciduous and permanent teeth.This investigation was supported by grant No.V-10/78 from the SIZ-V of S. R. Croatia.

Summary Two new potent diabetogenic substances 4,5-dihydro-4,5-dihydroxyuric acid (1) and 5-hydroxy-pseudouric acid (2) have been found.     

Application of (dialectical) systems thinking to understand managerial problems in Yugoslavia today

Soon after its reestablishment in 1945, Yugoslavia saw no other official solution for its management and government modernization but self-management. This was underestimated by many influential people, so the Tayloristic model of the thinking and the working subsystems was not dissolved. It stresses specialization and reinforces one-sidedness. It also divides people into those who command and those who obey, leaving little room for wholism and creativity. New solutions are needed, and we see them in the transition toward the managerial style we all think, we all work, based on creative cooperation of the Many in constant search for change by innovation. This can also be a new partial system of self-management: the doers' innovation of the daily work processes.     

Effect of Supervision on Stress and Burnout in School Counsellors: A Case of Action Research

School counsellors are permanently in action, the success of which depends on their systemic approach to their action. Due to the difficulty, complexity and scope of their work, school counsellors are often under a lot of stress, which may eventually develop into occupational burnout. Thus, it is very important that school counsellors can use appropriate i.e. systemic, i.e. requisitely holistic ways of coping with stress and occupational burnout. Recently, after many years, supervision has been gaining importance as an action in the form of professional help to school counsellors to enable them to cope effectively with stress and to prevent occupational burnout. The primary purpose of the reported-about study is to determine how supervision, in accordance with the relational family model, affects the perception of stress and occupational burnout. The sample included 30 school counsellors in Slovenia. They were divided into an experimental group (with the presence of supervision) and a control group (without supervision). Results show a positive effect of supervision, in accordance with the relational family model, on the school counsellors’ perception of stress, since stress decreased after supervisory meetings, while the school counsellors’ perception of their professional burnout after supervisory meetings did not change significantly.     

The Heuristic Function of Mathematics in Physics and Astronomy

This paper considers the role of mathematics in the process of acquiring new knowledge in physics and astronomy. The defining of the notions of continuum and discreteness in mathematics and the natural sciences is examined. The basic forms of representing the heuristic function of mathematics at theoretical and empirical levels of knowledge are studied: deducing consequences from the axiomatic system of theory, the method of generating mathematical hypotheses, “pure” proofs for the existence of objects and processes, mathematical modelling, the formation of mathematics on the basis of internal mathematical principles and the mathematical theory of experiment.

分析了新疆师范大学生命科学学院实验室现状及存在的问题，针对实验室建设规划制定中应关注的要素，结合学校和学院实际情况，就制定新校区生物科学类实验室建设规划的指导思想和工作思路进行了探讨。
