Synergism of terramycin to inhibit the reproductivity ofAphis fabae Scop

Zusammenfassung Nachweis, dass Piperonylbutoxid (0,2%) in Kombination mit Terramycin (0,2%) und dem Emulgator NP₁₀ (0,1%) die Larvalentwicklung verlangsamt und sowohl das Gewicht wie die Reproduktionsfähigkeit der resultierenden Adulten vonAphis fabae reduziert. Durch Zugabe des allein unwirksamen Piperonylbutoxyds werden diese Effekte gesteigert.

Alterations in lipid metabolism following trauma in rabbits

Zusammenfassung Nach Knochenverletzung beim Kaninchen kommt es im Blut zu einer drastischen Erhöhung der gesamten Lipide, freien Fettsäuren und des Cholesterols, während die Veränderungen des Serum-Phospholipids nur geringfügig ist. Die Erhöhung bleibt bis zum 9. Tag nach erfolgtem Knochenbruch.

Cell proliferation in mouse kidney by isoproterenol and the relationship with the thyroid function

Resumen En el presente trabajo se estudia el efecto del hipotiroidismo sobre la sintesis de DNA y proliferación celular renal estimuladas por isoproterenol. Se observa que la hormona tiroidea actúa como intermediario de las catecolaminas en el proceso de multiplicación celular. Se sugiere que la hormona tiroidea modula el efecto de catecolaminas aumentando la sensibilidad en el receptor. El aumento de la concentración de cAMP podría estar involucrado en este proceso.
