Continuous deep sea salt layer along North Atlantic margins related to early phase of rifting

Deep seismic reflexion surveys have revealed diapiric structures in deep water off Labrador, Newfoundland, Mauritania, Morocco, Portugal, Spain and Ireland as well as in the Mediterranean. Many of these diapirs are similar to the Gulf of Mexico salt domes, and it is suggested that there is a continuous deep sea salt layer, off the continental margin, which is related to the early phase of rifting.     

Characterization of the estrogen receptors in the uterine and blood eosinophil leukocytes

Summary Estrogen receptors are found in the rat uterine and in the eosinophil-rich human blood leukocyte 24,000g fractions, but not in the low-eosinophil count human blood leukocyte 24,000g fraction. The total number of binding sites per blood eosinophil leukocyte is 7,400 sites per cell, and theK _d =5.6×10^–10 M.Acknowledgments. 金属薄膜与萃取复型电镜照片上测量球状第二相误差分析

本文通过理论和实验数据分析表明:在萃取复型和金属薄膜电镜照片上定量测量球状第二相的加权平均直径时,存在较大误差。文章同时给出了两种误差的大小和它们之间的关系。     

水压爆破装药量的新探索

通过对不同材质的容器，用不同数量炸药进行水压爆破实验，观测容器材质对装药量的影响，探索水压爆破所需药量与材料的物理力学性质──密度ρ和抗拉强度Ｒ拉之间的关系，从而确定在一定水压爆破条件下新药量公式中的爆破强度系数Ｋ２。     

电子节能点火装置的试验研究

本文比较了三种汽车发动机点火装置的性能和特点,简要介绍了电子节能点火装置的基本工作原理。发动机台架试验表明,这种点火装置有比较明显的节油效果。     

平封头与壳体连接圆角处的局部应力

根据板壳理论的分析及采用有限元对多个算例的计算结果，提出平封头与圆柱壳体连接处的应力集中系数可以表示为３个无量纲参量的函数，并绘出相应曲线，可供设计参考．按照应力分类的观点，该处应力为一次应力与二次应力之和，应控制在３（σ）以下．     

Linkage of regression and malignant conversion of rabbit viral papillomas to MHC class II genes.

Human papillomaviruses associated with cutaneous and anogenital cancers induce intraepithelial precursor lesions which may regress spontaneously or progress into invasive carcinomas. Cell-mediated immune responses are probably involved in regression of precancerous lesions and the polymorphism of the genes responsible may thus have a key role in the variability of the host response. Skin warts and cancers induced in rabbits by Shope papillomavirus provide a model to test this hypothesis. We analysed a restriction-fragment-length polymorphism of major histocompatibility complex class I and class II genes and T-cell receptor beta-chain genes in infected domestic rabbits. We found a strong linkage between wart regression and a DR alpha EcoRI fragment, and an increased relative risk of malignant transformation associated with a DQ alpha PvuII fragment. This indicates a genetic control of wart evolution, involving genes in the class II region of the major histocompatibility complex.     

栖热菌噬菌体TSP4密码子偏嗜性及其对基因异源表达的影响

 为了探索噬菌体TSP4、栖热菌模式菌株Thermus thermophilus HB27中6种蛋白编码序列和Escherichia coli基因组遗传密码子使用偏嗜性,探索TSP4基因密码子偏嗜性对其基因异源表达的影响本研究利用生物学软件Editseq和RSCU算法统计噬菌体TSP4密码子使用频率并分析其偏嗜性,与栖热菌HB27的同源基因以及常温菌E.coli基因组的密码子使用偏嗜性进行对比分析.结果显示,噬菌体TSP4与栖热菌HB27优势密码子相似度高达85%,而与E.coli的相似性仅有65%.为了验证分析结果,选取TSP4基因组中一个潜在分子伴侣基因序列在E.coli BL21和E.coli Rosetta(补充了BL21菌株中缺失的6个稀有密码子)中进行异源表达.噬菌体TSP4与其宿主菌HB27之间密码子高相似性说明在长期的进化过程中TSP4在基因水平上形成对宿主的一种适应性机制.异源表达结果显示,分子伴侣基因在E.coli BL21中未见明显表达,但在Rosetta中高效表达,说明Rosetta中补充的 6个稀有密码子明显有助于分子伴侣基因的表达,该结果也进一步证明密码子偏嗜性是否一致在很大程度上影响基因的表达.
