Les auteurs suggèrent la possibilité d'un système endocrinaire, comprenant l'hypothalamus, l'hypophyse, les surrénales et le tissu lymphatique.     

Species differences in the influence of chlorothiazide on curarization

Résumé Chez le Chien, le Chat, le Cobaye et le Rat, le chlorothiazide est antagoniste de lad-tubocurarine. Chez le Lapin, le chlorothiazide potentialise la paralysied-tubocurarinique, mais exerce une action antagoniste vis-à-vis d'autres curarimimétiques. L'administration préalable de phénylbutazone transforme en antagonisme la synergie entre le chlorothiazide et lad-tubocurarine.     

Effects of dopamine and ACTH on steroid sensitive single neurones in the basal hypothalamus

Zusammenfassung Mit Hilfe der Mikroelektrophorese wurde die Wirkung von Dexamethasonphosphat, Dopamin und ACTH lokal an Einzelneuronen des Hypothalamus der Ratte geprüft. Dexamethason-phosphat (ein synthetisches Corticosteroid) hemmte mehrheitlich die Aktivität der steroidempfindlichen Zellen im Hypothalamus, einige wenige dieser Zellen wurden aktiviert. Dopamin hemmte die Aktivität dieser steroidempfindlichen Neuronen sehr stark. ACTH dagegen aktivierte diese Zellen. Diese Resultate werden in Zusammenhang mit einem negativen und einem positiven «Feedback»-Mechanismus, der die ACTH-Bildung steuert, diskutiert.     

Neue lokalanästhetisch wirksame basische Cycloalkylester von substituierten Carbanilsäuren

Summary Highly active local anaesthetics from the group of basic substituted cyclohexylesters of 2-chloro-, 2, 6-dichloro-, 2-chloro-6-methyl-, 2-methyl-, 2, 6-dimethyl-and 2,4,6-trimethylcarbanilic acid were developed. The substances were tested for local anaesthetic activity in surface anaesthesia.
