Zusammenfassung Nach einmaliger i.p.-Injetion von 700 mg/kg Niridazol wurden männiiche Mäuse wiederholt mit unbehandelten Weibchen wöchentlich über 2 Monate hinweg gepaart und die Ova gesammelt. Es konnte eine starke Herabsetzung der Befruchtungsraten 3–4 Wochen nach Paarung festgestellt werden, was die Annahme einer Wirkung auf die meiotische Teilung der Spermatozyten und Spermatiden nahelegt. Nach der 7. Woche trat eine Normalisierung der Fruchtbarkeitsrate ein.

Résumé Des souris ayant subi un traitement journalier au PHA, entrepris 4 jours avant l'implantation de cellules leucémiques L1210 on survécu plus longtemps que celles qui furent traitées au sel. Le traitement journalier entrepris 24 h après l'inoculation de cellules leucémiques n'a pas eu d'effet sur la durée de survie. Par le traitement au PHA combiné à la 6-mercaptopurine, la durée de vie fut plus longue que par celui que l'on obtint avec d'autres agents employés isolément. Un mécanisme proposé pour l'effet antileucémique de PHA est discuté.

Summary Male Swiss Albino mice were injected i.p. with an As2O3 solution (0; 4; 8 and 12 mg As/kg) and sacrificed 12, 24, 36 and 48 h after injection. Summary The effect of different densities of animals per cage on basal testosterone secretion and its response to some stimuli was studied in prepuberal male mice. Mice housed with 110 or 55 cm2 of floor space per animal showed the same basal serum testosterone and hCG-induced testosterone release. Likewise, in a second experiment, the same basal serum testosterone and a similar response to acute noise stress were found in mice housed at 132, 66 or 22 cm2 of floor space per animal. These results suggest that post-weaning crowding did not affect Leydig cell function in male mice. 相似文献

The histochemical and ultrastructural changes produced by zeranol treatment on the endometrium and the gonadotropic FSH cells of the adenohypophysis have been investigated in mice at the prepuberal and virginal stages. Oral mucosa of beige (Chediak-Higashi) mice had decreased levels of collagen synthesis and prolyl hydroxylase activity compared with normal animals. No significant difference was observed in non-collagen protein synthesis between the two groups. These results suggest that decreased collagen biosynthesis in oral tissues may be partially involved in the increased incidence of periodontal disease in the Chediak-Higashi syndrome. 相似文献

Summary A sesquiterpene isolated from the roots ofAristolochia indica (Linn.) was found to exert 100% interceptive activity and 91.7% anti-implantation activity in mice at a single oral dose of 100mg/kg b. wt. No toxic effect was found at the dose levels used.The authors wish to thank Dr S. C. Pakrashi and his associate Mr P. P.
