Zusammenfassung Ein Vergleich der Aminosäuresequenzen von menschlichen Wachstumshormonen und menschlichem Chorion-Somatomammotropin mit denjenigen von Prolactin zeigt, dass 26% des Rückstandes in allen drei Molekülen die gleiche Position hatten mit zusätzlichen 34% als möglichen Ersatz. Zusammenfassung Zur Bestimmung des Gehalts an Wachstumshormon in der Hypophyse wurden die radioimmunologische und die biologische Methode verwendet. Die Resultate der immunologischen Bestimmung von Wachstumshormon nach Insulinstress, Kälte oder Hunger waren negativ, während im biologischen Versuch eine deutliche Abnahme des Gehalts an Wachstumshormon in der Hypophyse festzustellen war.

Continuous administration of leukotriene C4 (LTC4, 10(-10) M) to superfused rat anterior pituitary cells increased LH release for 40 min only, whereas in a parallel experiment gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH, 10(-9) M) evoked a continuous increase in hormone secretion. In contrast to GnRH, LTC4 did not desensitize rat anterior pituitary cells. The secretory action resulting from the administration of LTC4 (10(-10) M) was abolished for 40 min after previous stimulation. Summary Melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH) activity was measured in the pituitaries of genetically obese and lean control mice using the frog skin bioassay. Obese mice pituitaries demonstrated very significantly elevated levels of biologically active MSH when compared to their lean littermates. These results support the hypothesis that the elevated levels of pituitary hormones found in obese mice possess true biological activity.  相似文献

Summary The effect of an acid extract of chicken hypothalami on the in vitro secretion of prolactin and growth hormone (GH) by dispersed chicken pituitary cells has been investigated. Both prolactin and GH release were stimulated in a dose related manner in the presence of the hypothalamic extract (HE). Somatostatin had no effect on the basal or HE stimulated release of prolactin although it did inhibit the HE induced release of GH.  相似文献

Summary Human anterior pituitary cells derived from a somatotropin-secreting adenoma were capable of generating action potentials with Ca2+ and tetrodotoxin-sensitive Na+ components.
