This work presents a new spectral data compression-rebuilding technique to translate the full IR spectral data into compact codes based on the analysis and comprehension encoding approach. This method has been successfully applied to a sample set of 505 IR spectra randomly picked from 100 000 spectra. The results show that the compression ratio reaches 12.7:1 under a very weak curve distortion. The choice of the number and shape of the basis functions is flexible. The IR spectra can be compressed in a fixed data size in fulfilling the distortion criteria. The data after compression have no significance in the sense of 蜶 spectra. To recover the original spectra, a specific algorithm must be applied. So the method can be used as a cryptic tool. Furthermore, the method can be applied to the compression of other complex curve by utilizing some of proper basis functions.  相似文献

It is beneficial to study the interesting contents in a data set by combining and rendering variouscontents of the data. In this regard, an indexed data structure is proposed to facilitate the reorganization of data so that the contents of the data can be combined conveniently and only the selected contents in the data are processed for rendering. Based on the structure, the cells of different contents can be queued up easily so that the volume rendering can be conducted more accurately and quickly. Experimental results show that the indexed data structure is very efficient in improving combinative volume rendering.  相似文献

The design of rational sampling filter banks based on a recombination structure can be formulated as a problem with two objective functions to be optimized. A new hybrid optimization method for designing perfectreconstruction rational sampling filter banks is presented, which can be used to solve a class of problems with two objective functions. This method is of good convergence and mezzo calculation cost. Satisfactory results free of aliasing in analysis and synthesis filters can be obtained by the proposed method.  相似文献

The optical properties of high-performance concentric double metal-insulator-metal (MIM) rings is simulated and investigated with different refractive index ni of materials in the inner ring. By changing the refractive index ni , the wavelengths of resonant dips and coupling strength between the inner and outer rings can be highly tunable. The energy distribution ratio between the inner and outer rings can be also modulated. It is worth noting that when the energy distributes mainly in the inner ring, the energy loss to the bus waveguide can be suppressed efficiently and ultra-high quality (Q) factor can be got for this structure. When the energy in the outer ring is large, the coupling strength between the concentric double MIM rings and bus waveguide is strong and the extinction ratio for this structure can be very high. The concentric double MIM rings we proposed provides a new perspective to design the advanced plasmonic resonant cavity.  相似文献

A two-stage algorithm is presented to determine an analytical model-based rational function by adaptively selecting sampling points. At the first stage, the rational interpolation function is created by using Stoer-Bulirsch algorithm and comparing the fitted model with the different ranks. At the second stage, the fitted model is validated by comparing with the first-principle model at a set of checking points. Some checking points will be added to the sampling series determined in the first stage to improve the fitted model. The new proposed algorithm is more accurate and effective than that using Stoer-Bulirsch interpolation only due to the fact that it appends the validation approach. When a highly oscillating curve is approximated, the validation ensures the fitting precision. With the two-stage MBPE algorithm, some time-consuming electromagnetic computations can be replaced by the interpolation from the fitting functions, which can increase the computational efficiency greatly. This method is used to calculate the samplings of the Green's functions in a multi-layer horizontal soil to demonstrate its effectiveness. The number of samples used to accurately model such Green's functions is less than 20 for the typical soil parameters. The computational time can be reduced by more than two orders of magnitude compared with that using the conventional uniform sampling technology.  相似文献

Feature selection is a key task in statistical pattern recognition. Most feature selection algorithms have been proposed based on specific objective functions which are usually intuitively reasonable but can sometimes be far from the more basic objectives of the feature selection. This paper describes how to select features such that the basic objectives, e.g., classification or clustering accuracies, can be optimized in a more direct way. The analysis requires that the contribution of each feature to the evaluation metrics can be quantitatively described by some score function. Motivated by the conditional independence structure in probabilistic distributions, the analysis uses a leave-one-out feature selection algorithm which provides an approximate solution. The leave-one- out algorithm improves the conventional greedy backward elimination algorithm by preserving more interactions among features in the selection process, so that the various feature selection objectives can be optimized in a unified way. Experiments on six real-world datasets with different feature evaluation metrics have shown that this algorithm outperforms popular feature selection algorithms in most situations.  相似文献

The optimal rate control problem in networks with unicast and multirate multicast sessions is investigated. A penalty function approach is used to solve a convex program formulation of this problem, and then a heuristic rate control algorithm is derived. The algorithm is distributed, and suitable both for source-driven unicast sessions and receiver-driven multicast sessions. To obtain practical viability, the computational burden on core routers as well as end-hosts is kept very low, also is the overhead of net-work congestion feedback. Simulation results show that the algorithm guarantees TCP (Transmission Control Protocol)-based unicast sessions coexisting with multirate multicast sessions in a fair and friendly manner. It is also shown that various fairness criteria of resource allocation could be achieved by choosing appropriate utility functions, and resource-utilizing efficiencies would be likewise different.  相似文献

Water resources exploitation is always very important during the whole oasis urbanization in arid zone, adapting with urban development in between contradiction and coordination. Taking Urumqi City as a case, co-adaptation of water exploitation and urban growth is imitated by interactions between water supply and oasis city's expands on population, economy and environment. In different urbanization stages, the co-adaptation can be represented differently, which can be summarized by five phases: elementary coordination, expanding coordination, expanding contradiction, adapting contradiction, and adapting coordination.
