Class I methanol masers are important tools for investigations of star formation throughout the Universe. Recently, a series of surveys for class I methanol masers at the 95 GHz transition toward samples of young stellar objects have been undertaken. These surveys have resulted in the detection of about 200 new class I methanol masers and combined with previous increased the number of known observations they have class I methanol masers in our Galaxy to ~400. From analysis of the relationship between class I methanol maser emission and associated astrophysical objects, it has been shown that the intensity of the class I methanol maser emission is closely correlated with the properties of the 1.1 mm Bolocam Galactic Plane Survey (BGPS) dust continuum sources and outflow properties. This further supports the hypothesis that class I methanol masers are collisionally pumped and excited in shocked regions. Based on these observations, it can be inferred that the BGPS catalog is likely to provide more reliable samples for targeting further class I methanol maser searches. A new survey for class I methanol masers toward a larger size sample of BGPS sources to test this is currently underway. The prospects for detecting class I methanol megamasers in extragalactic sources is discussed, and observations constituting the first sensitive search have been proposed.  相似文献

The rainfall in North China during rainy season (July and August (JA)) exhibits a strong interannual variability. In this study, the atmospheric circulation and SST anomalies associated with the interannual variation of JA North China rainfall are examined. It is found that on the interannual timescale, the JA North China rainfall is associated with significant SST anomalies in the equatorial eastern Pacific, and the North China rainfall and SST anomaly in the equatorial eastern Pacific correspond to the similar variation of the upper-level westerly jet stream over East Asia. A possible mechanism is proposed for the influence of the SST anomalies in the equatorial eastern Pacific on the North China rainfall.  相似文献

The ultra-high cycle fatigue behavior of a novel high strength steel with carbide-free bainite/martensite (CFB/M) complex microstructure was studied. The ultra-high cycle fatigue properties were measured by ultrasonic fatigue testing equipment at a frequency of 20 kHz. It is found that there is no horizontal part in the S-N curve and fatigue fracture occurs when the life of specimens exceeds 107 cycles. In addition, the origination of fatigue cracks tends to transfer from the surface to interior of specimens as the fatigue cycle exceeds 107, and the fatigue crack originations of many specimens are not induced by inclusions, but by some kind of "soft structure". It is shown that the studied high strength steel performs good ultra-high cycle fatigue properties. The ultra-high fatigue mechanism was discussed and it is suggested that specific CFB/M complex microstructure of the studied steel contributes to its superior properties.  相似文献

Chaotic behavior and detailed parameter analysis of stretch-twist-fold (STF) flow are investigated. STF flow is associated with fluid particle motion which naturally arises in the dynamo theory. It proposes a mechanism, by which a celestial bodies, such as earth and sun, can maintain and amplify the magnetic field continuously. Parameter analysis is performed using linearization theory for different choices of parameters. The existence of Heteroclinic trajectory of Sil’nikov type is proved using an undetermined coefficient method. It connects two non trivial equilibrium points. As a consequence, the Sil’nikov criterion guarantees that STF flow has Smale horseshoes chaos.  相似文献

At present, associated flow rule of traditional plastic theory is adopted in the slip line field theory and upper bound method of geotechnical materials. So the stress characteristic line conforms to the velocity line. It is proved that geotechnical materials do not abide by the associated flow rule. It is impossible for the stress characteristic line to conform to the velocity line. Generalized plastic mechanics theoretically proved that plastic potential surface intersects the M-C yield surface with an angle, so that the velocity line must be studied by non-associated flow rule. According to limit analysis theory, the theory of slip line field is put forward in this paper, and then the ultimate bearing capacity of strip footing is obtained based on associated flow rule and the non-associated flow rule individually. These two results are identical since the ultimate bearing capacity is independent of flow rule. On the contrary, the velocity fields of associated and non-associated flow are different which shows the velocity field based on the associated flow rule is incorrect.  相似文献

This study focuses on the development of a hydrothermal method for the rapid synthesis of good quality copper benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylate(referred to as HKUST-1)with high yield under mild preparation conditions to address the issues associated with reported methods.Different synthesis conditions and activation methods were studied to understand their influence on the properties of HKUST-1.It was found that mixing the precursors at50°C for 3 h followed by activation via methanol refluxing led to the formation of a product with the highest BET specific surface area of 1615 m~2/g and a high yield of 84.1%.The XRD and SEM data illustrated that the product was highly crystalline.The sample was also tested on its capacity in CO_2 adsorption.The results showed strong correlation between surface area of the sample and its CO_2 uptake at 1 bar and 27°C.The HKUST-1 prepared in this study demonstrated a high CO_2 uptake capacity of 4.2 mmol/g.It is therefore concluded that this novel and efficient method can be used in the rapid preparation of HKUST-1 with high surface area and CO_2 uptake capacity.  相似文献

A Cu/Al galvanic couple was established to study the influence of the oxidant KMnO4 on the film-forming process of rare earth metal (REM) conversion coating on LY12 aluminum alloy. It is found that the galvanic couple simulative experiment accords with the actual immersion, and it can be substantially used to simulate the behavior of LY12aluminum alloy in the film-forming process. It is showed that the formation of the coating is quickened in CeCl3 solution containing KMnO4 compared with that not containing KMnO4. XPS results reveal that the coating formed on cathode is composed of oxide or hydroxide of Ce and Mn, so the mechanism of formation of REM conversion coating changes when KMnO4 is added.  相似文献

Direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) has great potential to replace the traditional battery in the field of portable power sources. This study investigates the operational and structural aspects of a vapor-feed semi-passive DMFC supplied with concentrated methanol. The effec tiveness of using vaporous methanol to improve the cell performance is experimentally validated. Results indicate that there exits an optimal value of methanol concentration that favors both methanol supply and control of methanol crossover (MCO). With the increase in vaporization temperature, the cell performance can be enhanced. Based on the traditional structural design, a sintered porous metal plate is further used to depress the impact of MCO so that the cell performance can be significantly improved at a relatively higher methanol concentration. This is of great importance to enhance the energy density and operating duration for portable applications. The mechanisms related to the performance behaviors are discussed in detail.  相似文献

The Williston Basin is a significant petroleum province, containing oil production zones that include the Middle Cambrian to Lower Ordovician, Upper Ordovician, Middle Devonian, Upper Devonian and Mississippian and within the Jurassic and Cretaceous. The oils of the Williston Basin exhibit a wide range of geochemical characteristics defined as "oil families", although the geochemical signature of the Cambrian Deadwood Formation and Lower Ordovician Winnipeg reservoired oils does not match any "oil family". Despite their close stratigraphic proximity, it is evident that the oils of the Lower Palaeozoic within the Williston Basin are distinct. This suggests the presence of a new "oil family" within the Williston Basin. Diagnostic geochemical signatures occur in the gasoline range chromatograms, within saturate fraction gas chromatograms and biomarker fingerprints. However, some of the established criteria and cross-plots that are currently used to segregate oils into distinct genetic families within the basin do not always meet with success, particularly when applied to the Lower Palaeozoic oils of the Deadwood and Winnipeg Formation.  相似文献

理论推导与室内实验相结合,建立了低渗透非均质砂岩油藏启动压力梯度确定方法。首先借助油藏流场与电场相似的原理,推导了非均质砂岩油藏启动压力梯度计算公式。其次基于稳定流实验方法,建立了非均质砂岩油藏启动压力梯度测试方法。结果表明:低渗透非均质砂岩油藏的启动压力梯度确定遵循两个等效原则。平面非均质油藏的启动压力梯度等于各级渗透率段的启动压力梯度关于长度的加权平均;纵向非均质油藏的启动压力梯度等于各渗透率层的启动压力梯度关于渗透率与渗流面积乘积的加权平均。研究成果可用于有效指导低渗透非均质砂岩油藏的合理井距确定,促进该类油藏的高效开发。  相似文献
