Résumé L'adrénalectomie supprime le net déplacement, causé par l'irradiation, vers les espéces de polyribosomes plus lourdes observées chez les rats normaux irradiés. Ces résults font supposer que l'action de l'irradiation sur les polyribosomes du foie est réglée au moins en partie, par la glande surrénale.

Summary Ethanol was administered i.p. to adult roosters during hormonally induced vitellogenin synthesis. At moderate doses, ethanol had no influence on the synthesis of vitellogenin nor did it cause alterations in the size distribution of liver polyribosomes.This was supported in part by a grant from the Foundation for Alcohol Studies, Finland.  相似文献

Summary Cadmium chloride injected to mice (20 moles/kg) provokes in the livers a degradation of polyribosomes and diminishes their protein synthetic ability measured in vitro. CdCl2 added in a final concentrations between 30 and 100 M to the protein synthetic cell-free system derived from livers of control mice inhibits its activity.Acknowledgments. Summary Hemolymph from adult femaleLocusta migratoria migratorioides was analyzed for binding of juvenile hormone III (JH-III) after allatectomy and transection of thenervus corporis allati 1 (NCA-I). These operations did not affect the apparent dissociation constant of the binding (Kd=3.3 10–8 M). The concentration of binding sites exhibited fluctuations in relation to age and type of operation: an increased concentration of binding sites in females with disconnected corpora allata and a decreased concentration in allatectomized females. The changes in concentration of binding sites was not due to differences in water content or hemolymph volume in operated animals. The hemolymph protein concentration was reduced after NCA-I transection and even more after allatectomy. However, variations in protein concentration did not correlate with changes in concentration of JH-III binding sites. The changes in binding site concentration were related to changes in JH-titer.  相似文献

By ligation of the efferent duct and the corpus epididymis, the GPC concentration in this delimited anterior region decreased. However, HCG infection increased the GPC concentration. When spermatozoa are present in the epididymal tubule there is always a decrease in GPC concentration in these experimental conditions. Activity of the epididymis is disturbed by ligation.  相似文献

In 10 human subjects plasma dopamine-beta-hydroxylase activity was found in the adrenal vein blood to be as high as in the periphery of the circulation. Adrenaline concentration in the adrenal vein blood was in the mean 170 times, noradrenaline concentration 11 times and dopamine concentration little higher than levels in the periphery.  相似文献

Summary The sodium concentration in single frog muscle fibres vacuolated by glycerol treatment was significantly higher than in devacuolated fibres. Intracellular potassium concentration did not show any significant change. Summary The migration of leucocytes from the buffy coat is influenced by the glucose concentration in the medium, stimulation of migration results from concentrations of glucose up to 2%.. Higher concentrations of glucose up to 8%. have no effect. The stimulating effect of a constant concentration PLPS increases considerably over the whole range of glucose concentrations up to 8%.. The effects of injury on the concentration of alpha1-macroglobulin and alpha2-macroglobulin in the plasmas of male and remale rats has been investigates. At 5 days after injury to the male rats the alpha1-macroglobulin concentration increased to 131% of its preinjury value. The alpha2-macroglobulin concentration increased more rapidly to a maximum of 86 times its initial value. In the female rats alpha2-macroglobulin increased only slightly and alpha1-macroglobulin not at all.  相似文献

The influence of oral lithium on the concentration of red blood cell choline (Ch), lecithin, glycerophosphorylcholine (GPCh) and phosphorylcholine (PCh) was studied. The concentration of RBC Ch was significantly elevated and the concentration of lecithin, GPCh and PCh significantly depressed in 16 patients on oral lithium compared to 9 age-matched controls. We conclude that lithium markedly depletes the red blood cell of choline containing compounds including lecithin. These changes may be responsible for both the therapeutic efficacy and the toxicity of lithium.  相似文献

Alkalosis (pH 7.8) produced by reduction of CO2 concentration augmented both upstroke velocity of Ca action potentials and isometric contractile force of mammalian heart muscle. If the increase of pH to 7.8 was achieved by a raise of HCO3 concentration (with simultaneous reduction of CO2 concentration), the positive inotropic response was not accompanied by an augmented Ca current. Obviously, the well-known positive inotropic effect of alkalosis does not only depend upon the enhancement of transmembrane Ca influx during excitation, but can be mediated alone by affecting intracellular Ca movements as well.  相似文献
